Nari woke up when the doorbell of her house rang. Wearing a loose and comfortable baby pink shirt and grey shorts, she sat upright on her bed. Her hair was uncombed and her eyes barely opened. She looked at the digital clock near her bed on the side table. It was about time she should wake up. She sighed, and the bell rang again. Steadily she went to the door and before opening it, she widened her eyes to look awake. And she opened the door.
"Good morning." A well-suited man standing in front of her said, and she bowed to him.
"Ma'am, the keys to your car. Thanks for the purchase. Here is the gift from our side." He handed her keys, a bouquet, and a small cake.
Nari, with a half-asleep brain and totally confused, accepted all of it and the man went away, closing the door gently for her. She went to the dining table and kept everything down.
'Is it him?' she wondered.
'Why did he buy me a new car?'
She didn't like this unexpected and unnecessary gift from him.
