"And at last," Yeon Jae looked at Ye Jun straight.
Ye Jun's monotonous face greeted him.
"Thank you."
"Thank you for welcoming me and looking forward to me. I hope I won't disappoint you in the future and will help these small futures of our country as much as I can. But one thing you should know, I have dedicated my whole life to you and will do the same as far as I can. I know I am not able to visit the country often but I know my duties and I will fulfil them. Let's meet again when I come back."
Everyone clapped except Ye Jun. His eyes glistened. Yeon Jae was leaving again. They didn't even meet properly. Just one hug? Could that ever satisfy the son who was waiting to meet his dad for three years without complaining?
All determination to ask his father questions about anything left. He again understood him with his vague emotions.
'Father, I understand,' he said in meditation.
