Chapter 45: Asher Vs Charlene
CHARLENE'S POV:
Both Arturo and the other girl ran away, leaving the other guy behind. But my target hasn't changed, so I dashed in decided to follow them. But even with this speed, the other guy interrupted my way and swung his sword at him without hesitation.
I blocked his attack with my sword *CLANK* and stepped back.
"Before you get to Art, you need to defeat me." He pointed his sword at me and spoke. He challenged me straightforward, just like a knight.
I knew that he had no affinity towards magic and had low mana, but I ignored him, thinking he was a waste of time. But right now, those eyes and the way he is pointing his sword at me with a straight face, showing no intention of backing down, just like a knight fighting for his king.
I am flattered. Thus, I shall take him on.
"What's your name?" I asked him as a fellow magic knight.
"Asher Bluford."
