Chapter 39: Ambush
A few minutes have passed since I reached the meeting place, and both aren't here yet. That's when I heard footsteps and disturbance to my right, inside that forest.
I had the intuition that it was Ash and Sasha, and they were being chased, so I ran into the forest without a second thought.
"Arrows Of Light," I heard the spell.
{Arrows Of Light: Arrows are made up of light magic and fall under Holy magic.}
I dashed in and cut down all the incoming arrows. Well, it was not really needed cause Ash and Sasha could have handled it.
"Heya, guys, how you doi -- "
"It's not time for that…." Ash replied.
"Oh yeah, you are right; follow me." Saying that I sped back to where I came from. The one chasing them is a whole party, so fighting in an open space is better.
