Yuki wandered around the outskirts of the forest alone hunting until she hit level 2. While doing so she got a better feeling of the rapier she was using. It was her most used weapon for now, but she wanted a slightly wider blade surface for more slashing as she did like that aspect of the longsword she used for sometime.
Along the outskirts she saw a few other solo players approaching one another to form parties to wander inside the forest for more gains. This happened to Yuki as well, as a party of 4 approached her to rope her in the ranks to go into the forest.
Although Yuki thought of accepting their request, she turned it down as she had almost leveled up and she would go back into town to exchange what she had got for a bunch more gold and then roam around the commercial district, as well as to find what she would do as a side thing.
Roaming around after returning to the city, she found a few occupations she could take up but she wanted something that was more underrated than the usual things like blacksmithing, alchemy, woodworking and others. After a bit more searching she did find a tailoring store that peaked her interest.
But before that she visited a butcher shop to sell her unwanted item.
"Good evening lass. I presume you are one of the new faces around here like the rest that came by. Just letting you know that the prices for things have fallen. So what do you have to sell?" said a middle aged man.
"Good evening as well. I have some meat that I want to sell." said Yuki as she got the meat that the wolves dropped and passed it over to the butcher. After hearing what the butcher said, Yuki didn't expect to get a lot of gold as a lot more materials would enter the market, as the players hunted relentlessly.
"Here lass." The butcher gave Yuki 10 gold pieces due to the overflow of materials. "And as I said to the others that come over, go to the dungeon in the mountain or inside the forest. If all of you continue like that there won't be anything left." finished the butcher which was rather annoyed.
"Thank you. Can I ask where I can go to sell these things?" Said Yuki to the butcher and asked a question before leaving. "You can sell them at the guild down the road or go to a tailor store for the pelt and to an alchemy store for the slime stuff." replied the butcher and Yuki left.
The next stop this time was to sell the slime items. While she could go to the adventurers guild to sell both the pelts and slime at once, she opted to go to sell them at a store so she could make her last stop at the tailor store.
Along the road Yuki did find a few stores she could sell, but she would need to wait for the rest of the players that wanted to sell as well. Then she stumbled across a store that was relatively empty, and she wondered why.
Curiosity got hold of her as the street was packed with people and this store didn't attract any, so she made her way in, looking around she could get an idea why the store didn't have a lot of customers as it was slightly run down and didn't have a lot of products on the shelves.
The only customers were two npc's snooping around the store which Yuki found a bit weird as they didn't touch a single thing and when she entered the store they looked at her in a weird stare which brought chills to Yuki but she tried to ignore them.
The only redeeming fact of the store was the gorgeous shop keeper. A quite attractive and relatively young looking woman. She had auburn color hair that fell to her mid waist, her face was alluring with bewitching amethyst colored eyes and plump lips.
Her figure did not fall behind as she was quite well endowed with an hourglass shape. It also did not leave much to the imagination as she wore a quite revealing outfit. It was a purplish one that matched her eyes with a large v neck boob window that went all the way down to her midriff while from the hip down were slits revealing her long legs.
Yuki could not say that she wasn't stunted by her appearance, although the dress she wore was something that someone would see in more modern times as most women in the city wore skirts and shirts that covered most of their skin. Along with what she was doing in a store like this.
While it wasn't the best idea, Yuki decided to sell her items to this store along with buying a few potions to have as a back up when she goes farming again. When Yuki picked up a few of the last potions on the shelves, the owner became intrigued in her as she didn't leave the store after entering.
This added stare from the owner was different from the once she got from the other customers, which was kind of relieving but it hit somewhat differently, when Yuki turned her own gaze she stared the owner into the eyes.
They locked eyes with each other for a few seconds before Yuki broke it away. This made the owner chuckle at the sight which was refreshing for her.
Yuki slowly made her way towards the counter to buy and sell. Once she reached the counter, one of the other customers made his way out while the other remained but wandered around the store a bit more, coming slightly closer.
"I would like to sell and buy a few things." Said Yuki as she took out the slime items and placed them on the counter. Up close the woman was even more charming as her face was framed with a gentle smile.
"Of course my dear." Said the owner with a soft and slightly sultry voice, as she looked at the items and then Yuki, which was quite a beauty alone but her figure was kind of underwhelming so she had thought to help her a bit to match the face with the body.
"What's your name darling?" asked the owner while trying to create eye contact once again, something that Yuki tried to avoid for as much time as possible as she didn't know how to feel about the current situation. "You can call me Zerchie."
"I'm Yuki, nice to meet you." Replied Yuki as she tried to sound confident but that was noticed by Zerchie as she released another chuckle, making Yuki slightly embarrassed.
"You look lovely." Zerchie said with a calm demeanor, while Yuki's heart started to slightly raise its beat the longer she stayed there. "Thank you. You look stunning as well." replied Yuki while making a slightly weary smile.
"You don't need to pay anything if you sell these. While this is on the store." Zerchie then took another potion and placed it on the counter next to the other potions. "Would you like to drink it now?"
"What does it do?" asked Yuki. "Drink and you'll see." replied Zerchie with a chuckle.
Yuki looked at the extra potion and so that was no different than the one she had bought, only the color of it was a bit lighter. She looked back at Zerchie to only see her smiling at her and nodding for her to drink.
Yuki reluctantly picked up the potion and gulped it down in one shot. It tasted slightly sweet but nothing major happened, so Yuki picked up her potions, stored them in her inventory and left the store.
Looking at what time it was in reality, she logged out to go do a few things before heading to sleep. She also overthought why she needed to drink that potion.
