The teacher smile at Aoi before leaving the room with her belongings.
Aoi sat there in her seat with a wide smile plaster on her face but that smile quickly disappear and was replaced by straight lines.
'They saw yesterday… I should've been careful not to seen by anyone. I'll be more careful from now.'
Aoi heave out a sigh as she pack her things and as soon as she was finished packing, she was face-to-face with Kiara as soon as she look up.
"Oh, hi!"
Aoi smile as she zip her bag close.
"Let's go eat lunchhhhhhh, I'm hungryyyyy!"
Kiara whine as she flop herself down on Aoi.
"Oh, hey!"
Aoi called out but Kiara won't budge causing the brown haired girl to heave out a sigh.
"How can we have lunch when I can't even move a single inch?"
Aoi ask and Kiara only huff before standing on her feel.
"Thank you."
Aoi chuckle at her behavior before standing up as well.
"Let's go have lunch, shall we?"
Aoi smile and Kiara's face lit up before skipping toward the door with a cheerful face.
'This girl… I thought she was supposed to be the mature one.'
Aoi chuckle as she watch her skip toward the door where Keiji and Nite were already waiting.
"Let's go have lunch!"
Kiara and Keiji bump their fists before skipping toward the Art Club with blissful smiles plaster on their faces while Aoi and Nite followed behind the twins in silence.
Aoi chuckle at their childish behavior while Nite only stare at them with a blank expression.
"They're really twins."
Aoi whisper under her breath as she smile at the twins.
The two were nowhere in sight anymore because they turn into the corner. Aoi was also about to take a turn in the corner, but stop when she notice that Nite halted in his tracks.
"Is something wrong, Nite-kun?"
Aoi ask as she walk back toward him.
"Why do you always prioritize others first before yourself?"
Nite ask.
"Hmm? What's wrong with it?"
Aoi ask, tilting her head to the side.
"Everything."
Nite respond.
"Well, do you want me to stop caring about you?"
Nite blink his eyes for a couple of times at Aoi's words.
"As much as I'm thankful for your care, you need to stop. Before it's too late for you. Kindness and care may be good, but you must not forget that it can also make your life miserable."
Nite said and Aoi only smile at him.
"It's probably too late to warn me."
Aoi smile sheepishly and scratch her cheek.
"And besides, how can I stop when that's the only thing that keeps me going?"
Nite was unfazed by her words but he was taken aback by her genuine and bright smile.
'There it is again… That smile of hers…'
Nite couldn't help but to feel giddy because of her smile.
"And it also makes me happy to be able to help someone even if I get nothing in return."
Aoi smile at Nite before turning on her heels.
"Let's go, or else Kiara-san will be angry."
Aoi smile and start walking away while Nite stilled in his place.
"Aoi."
Nite called out making the brown haired girl to halt and turn around.
And the moment she did, her eyes widen a little and pink dust covers her cheeks.
'Eh…?'
"If you need someone to talk to or share your problems, I'll be here."
Nite genuinely smile.
"Y-Yes…"
Nite chuckle at her flustered face and walk passed her and give her a head pat.
"Let's go."
