Its been a few days sense my battle with the metallic fox, and life has gone on normally,... well as normally as it can possible be when you have a 2 day old daughter that is a fox. In this past three days I have not left the cave because I have been trying to treat the illness of my daughter.
My knowledge of medicine that I have from my old world does not apply here, so It has been a littledifficult to do, after a lot of testing andresearch, I found out that her illness is caused by an imbalance of the mana energy in her body, there by deteriorating her cell and killing her slowly.
I don't know a lot about magic because it was not a very acceptable method of ability application there, I mean how can you believe in something that can create out of nothing. But it looks like in this world that very thing can happen with some areas of magic.
Unfortunately, the knowledge I have on the subject of magic is a very limited one, so I can't adequately treat her illness, the only thing I can do is use my control over mana to extract the excess mana that her body is producing, but even this is not a permanent solution.
The metallic fix mother had the right Idea to force her to evolve, because according to my understanding of the evolution process if she is fused to undergo and evolution there is a possibility that the excess mana in her body will be used up and maybe the problem will be fix. she might even get a unique evolution out of it all.
I don't think it will be that had to evolve her because of her stat and the method I came up with. Which is based on a past method of speed leveling. I call it (leaching)
This is a practice method were I will use a little of her life force in each of my attacks there by transferring a large amount of exp directly to her. but for this to work she has to be extremelycloses to me, because I can't take the already little life force she has from her tomuch over a long distance.
As all this planes were coming into place in my head, I looked up at the little fox that was running about chasing a little bug all around the cave. It surprised me how quickly this little fox accepted a monster like me as her mother. I don't know if it was because of the original fox soul that is now merged with mine or the fact that she woke up and found her mother replaced with some one that has the same sent.
Now that I think about it, that situation was a very funny experience, I just can't help but giggle any time I think about it.It worms my heart that she could accept me as her mother, and not run away from my monstrous form,.... I think that this motherly emotion is affecting me more than I thought I would.
