After some time without any one close to me, I started thinking that maybe I deserved to be alone and I should just take my own life. But I was destined to be wrong. because just after two weeks. My personal right hand gaud came back, with not just all her life savings but also having disregarded her rule as my knight. I thought she came to laugh at my pathetic state of being.
Never did I expect it to be a confession of her love. At first it took me by surprise. But I thought " she did not love me when I was normal, why would she love me when I am in this state" but to my surprise, she said she has always loved me but could not find the courage to tell me. She said that no matter what . I decided to do, she will always be by my side.
This small speech of hers broth me back to reality, and made me question what I was doing being all depressed when the one that should be depressed should be her. After all it was her sister who sacrificed herself to save us in that dungeon .
And with that I was able to get myself together not because of her confession of love. But because I felt that I most pay the trust that her sister put in me by sacrificing herself to save us.
After I gained back control of my mind. I did not go back to the quest my father gave me instead I changed my name and registered as an adventurer in the adventurers guild. We decided to state a life together as adventurers.
It was one of the most happiest moments of my life, I had a beautiful wife who kisses me before I go to work and kisses me any time I come home from it. There were no words that could describe how I felt. But I always kept it at the back of my mind to always be extra earful. Because from my experience all this years, any time I found something that makes me happy. That thing is always taken away from me.
But this one happened in a way that I would not expect. After one of my many adventures quest I was on my way back home from a 3 days journey. This particular quest took me far away from home. But the money that I got from the quest is enough to keep us for two months without worry. So it was all worth it in the end.
When I get back home, I saw my wife fainted on the floor. I rushed to her side only to find out that she looked as sick and malnourished as a dead person. Without waiting a single second I rushed her to the hospital. But only to be given dreadful news that she has been poisoned with devils poison.
I spent all the money that I had to try and save her but it was no use. When I had lost all hope a strange man came to me and offered me help. He said that there was a way to cure my wife. He said that a cure can be made from a special type of flower that is found inside the VOTEX dungeon in the abyss continent. This was the most dangerous continent in the world with high level monsters roaming every Conner of it.
