SUMMER's POV
My quiet breakfast was disturbed by a voice.
"Bonjour princess, What are you doing? "
(Bonjour: Good Day)
Great!
My irritating brother arrived in front of me, perplexed as to what I was doing, despite the fact that he had already witnessed everything. However, before responding quickly, I blinked twice, and then the understanding hit me. He removed the Les Crêpes and sausages that were on my dish.
Those meals are entirely mine!
I want to remove the plaster grin from his face, but he is fleeing. I adore my Frère , but he can be a bit of a nutcase at times. The behavior he displayed was inappropriate for his age.Imagine if he spent his whole 27-year life acting like a child.
[Frère: Sibling]
"Mon Dieu ! You're so dead! "
[My God: Mon Dieu]
I yelled at him. My blood is on fire as I take a stance and prepare to rush after him.
Voices suddenly erupt from the kitchen door, where our père and mère are standing, watching and listening to our little game.
[Père/Mère: Father/Mother]
"Alessandro Lemaire"
He was referred to us by our mother.
"Summer Lemaire"
Dad chastised me after that.
Two of us face our parents. The next thing I know, we're both seated in the dining room, acting as if we've been caught fighting as toddlers.
"Mom, please stop gazing at me like that. You're a creep." While beaming at my mum, I informed her.
"Dad I know you can't keep your laughing in much longer. Simply let it go. You're so vexing."As I patted his left shoulder, the look on his face was threatening, yet he was serene and humorous on the inside. He enjoys making fun of his own children, especially when Mama is lecturing me and my brother.
"All right, enough of our hilarity. Let's get down to business. Can we?" My father stated
"Why are you getting up so early, Dad? Isn't it true that business may wait at the office?"
Alex spoke out from the corner.
"I know, son, but this type of business is vital to all of us. It can't wait much longer." Mère stated as she sipped her coffee.
"Go ahead, Dad; we're listening."
"Except for this moment, Huxley Union has stood alone for a long time since I constructed it. A few months later, one of the top firms, similar to ours, proposed combining our companies to make both of us stronger also highest ranked in the world."Père made it very plain to us.
"Dad, like you mentioned, we can stand alone, but we also have a multi-business. So, why do we need another corporation to be more powerful than the one we had before?"
I questioned my father since I was curious about what may happen in the near future.
"Mon chéri, despite the fact that our companies will join, we will not be interested in one other's fields of expertise. So-called "comradeship" in this situation. The multi-businesses are strangers to one another, but everything benefits from collaboration and we have a flight tomorrow. We are in Rome, Italy, for an annual anniversary. Where will the deal be signed?" Prepare yourselves and all that."
[Honey: Mon chéri]
"Dad, before we wrap this up. May I inquire as to why you did not consult with us?" Alex and I don't have any plans for our company's collaboration or agreement.
Père grins again before continuing, "It's for both of your sakes. I want you two to learn to socialize, to broaden your knowledge, to be flexible and adaptable, to learn from the experiences of others, and to explore more than I do. Always remember that life's finest teacher is experience."
"Your father is correct. I've already consented to him," Mom replied, leaning against to father. Alex and I embraced them.
Mère cocked her head and murmured,
"You two should not go to work. Instead, arrange your belongings for the trip tomorrow. Only your father and I are going. There will be no more argument; just listen and do."
Mère insisted on us strolling down these trails till we reached the front door of our house.
Before they departed, Père kissed my forehead and hugged my brother, and then he whispered,
"Before I forget, our business partner is VALENTINI ENTERPRISE"
