3 days later Sven woke up in the same cave he trained in he was confused and weak. Ober come by hunger he ran to the plate of food he saw to his right on a small table. Without looking at the note he started to shovel the food into his mouth.
As Sven finished the last mouthful of food he looked around and patted down his body looking for any visible sign of change from the experiment. It was at this point he noticed that his foot had grown back, kind of it wasn't a normal foot it looked human but instead of being tan like the rest of him it was a sickly grey colour with blue toenails.
The strange colouration continued up is leg and upon inspection it goes all the way and ends at his hip join. He continued looking over his body any apart from his foot the only other physical change that he could see was that he was thinned out and was maybe taller.
"Its strange how Serina said I would become stronger but if anything I just feel strange. Like im glad my foots back but my whole body is a little tingly" he said to himself while trying to figure out why he was feeling this way.
A loud bang was heard followed by footsteps turning his head to see who it was Sven was greeted by Serina. "Hello Sven, you may feel strange after the procedure it's normal im sure, well not really as you are the first person to survive the implant but not the last as I've just returned from implanting a waterbear core into someone and it went a lot smoother than yours"
Walking past Sven Serina walked upto the bed and pushed it away from where it sat revealing a trap door. "When your ready head down there it will take you to a small forest where you can hunt and train to get used to your new body" she said looking at Sven
"No first up im not going to listen to someone who tortured me and used me as a lab rat. Also what do you mean new body all that happend was I got skinny and my leg changed" Sven snapped back asking questions.
*smack* Serina slapped Sven before talking "listen here boy, you will do as your told I wasted millions of gold to implant that core in you. All your stats raised by 3 points and you gained a second ability somthing that had never happend before you are the first of your kind but not the last as I said I just implanted a stronger core into somone else if they surpass you then you will be fed to the beast so work hard"
As she finished talking she disappeared into the dark again. Left alone in the cave Sven did the only thing he could he started trying to activate this second ability Serina was talking about. He first tried the way he would activate his normal ability but it didn't work. After an hour of trial and error he had come up short and decided to rest before heading down into the forest to hunt beasts for food.
Having spent 2 days in the forest hunting and fighting with beasts and feral animals Sven was realising that not only did his body get stronger thanks to the rise in stats but also due to thefl fact that his right leg was stronger than it should be. He felt as though his right leg was twice as strong as the rest of him and was almost 10 times harder to break while also healing quicker.
During his time in the forest Sven was starting to wonder what his second ability was and had the understanding that it must have to do with his strengthend leg. "Hmm maybe if I put my mana into it? But then that would be more so what a mage does and I'm not a mage, but it can't hurt to try" talking to himself Sven decided to head back out of the forest into the cave to try his idea safly away from monsters.
On his way to the cave entrance Sven was met by a towing bear that was 9feet tall with red and orange fur and a flame floating above its paw showing it was a mana beast with a flame attribute.
Seeing the bear Sven quickly scanned his surroundings trying to look for a way out as he knew he wouldn't be able to win against the bear easily. Seeing a small opening in a rock wall to his left he charged and dived into the hole luckily the opening was quite deep and became 2meters tall and wide at the end.
Sitting in the small cave Sven was watching the flame bear claw at the opening trying to break it down sometimes even shoving his head into the hole and letting out a deep roar that would cause the cave to rumble and make Sven fear for his ear drums.
"Fuck, why won't this damn bear leave me alone. I need to get back to the training cave to practice and see if infusing mana in my leg will work." He spoke to himself before smacking himself in the face. "OMG you idiot, if I'm trapped here for a while I should try the mana thing now".
Following himself thoughts Sven moved to the furthest place from the bear and sat down in a meditation position legs crossed and arms resting on his knees. He began to feel and guide his mana through his body before taking it to his right leg and keeping in there. At first nothing happend but after a few more seconds Sven felt a searing pain.
Hos mana was being sucking into the tissues muscles, bones and ligaments all through his right leg he could feel them expand and contract he could feel the bones change shape before they completely broke down and came to the surface while the bones reformed in the shape of a leg armour around his leg all the muscles inside became larger and more dense.
While Sven was in pain for what felt like hours while his leg changes in reality it was less than 3 seconds. "Fuck that hurt what happened" he asked himself as he looked down at his leg to see it was now covered in a white armour.
Feelin a new found strength after changing his leg Sven stoop up and charged at the bear who had his nose stuck in the cave entrance. When he was close enough Sven swung out his right leg and kicked it in the nose sending its head flying out of the hole. Not wanting to test his luck Sven used the time the bear was recovering to run back towards the forest entrance so he could get back the training cave and adapt to his new leg.
While sprinting for the forest entrance Sven found himself becoming increasingly tired like all his energy was being sapped from his body. He pushed on not caring untill he started to feel extremely light headed. As the would around him started to spin and fade into black he saw a blurry figure wearing all black come towards him closing his eyes from exhaustion before being able to see the persons face Sven fell into a deep sleep.
