In an enclosed chamber of one and half meter, an ethereal and mysterious square-shaped box was levitating above the ground rotating on its own axis giving off myriad of colours. It was about the size of an adult-fist and its surface was covered with strange symbols which seemed to move on its own as if these symbols had life in them.
However, unimaginable power could be felt from the box and the space around the box was acting very strange. If seen closely, one could see various distortions in space which were like gateways to another world. Sometimes, one can also see distant places through these. It seemed like the space around the box deemed the mysterious box as its master. However, just outside the chamber everything was normal as if the glass wall acted as a barrier for space between the box and outside world.
" So, this is 'that'. Just seeing it makes me shiver with fear. What do they call it ? Oh , I remember cosmic cube " , said Mark who was present along with Val inside the Professor Trafford's laboratory.
Val was also mesmerized by the sight of the box. The box seemed to be come from another world.
He soon regained his sanity and started preparing to take the cosmic cube along with him. However, he soon realised that the cube and the enclosed chamber were one entity. He tried several times but it gave no result. So, he decided the take the whole chamber along with him.
" Hey, what are you doing standing there? Do you want to die? Come here and carry this " , said Val with a smirk on his face.
" Oof ! This thing is a grim reaper on its own. Wherever, it goes , it brings destruction along. And you want me to carry this reaper on my shoulders. What if it took my life with its....shythe" , said Mark grimly.
"Are you going to do it or not? " , Val threatened Mark gesturing his finger around his neck.
"Yes...Yes.. I am on it" , stuttered Mark. He tied the thing around its shoulder and followed Val to the evacuation center.

In the command centre,
" Is everything ready? ", a voice could be heard which had the characteristics of both male and female voice.
Alfred was now wearing a tight fitting dress which showed his manly curves. However, no one was disgusted by this as they deemed him as his master.
" Yes, master. All the EMP blasters and TSAR missiles are ready. However, we are not able to expend our full offensive power and most of our weapons as we are still in a jump state ", said a staff with a robot like voice.
" Don't worry , that will be enough to break that rock into pieces. Now, let's make this bastard realise that it is courting its own death. Now, Blast that rock into pieces. Fire! " , commanded Alfred with his unique voice.

The vibrating ship made Val realise that the fight has started and he had to hurry as fast as he can to evacuation chamber. Or else , the whole fleet's effort and sacrifice will go to waste.
While Alfred was seeing the bombarding , professor Trafford reached him in panic and informed him about the missing cube.
" What!!!" , who did that?", Alfred was totally furious. He asked Eliz and Qirin who was by his side to track the person who did that and chop off his hands and legs and bring that person's head to him.
Soon, Alfred remembered a distant memory which was locked deep within him and smirked.
" Alpha squad 01, prepare to engage a deserter. He will be going to the evacuation center. Don't let him run away " , Alfred also commanded a special team to kill the deserters who were Val and Mark.
"Where will you run ? That cube is mine. This ship is mine. Where will you run ? Ha..ha .hahaha" , a voice came into the minds of Val and Mark which made their faces grim.
However, that grim look soon changed into an evil smirk. Val and Mark both laughed their stomach out listening to the telepathic voice.
They have already boarded a specially reinforced ship which can take the brunt of pressure in the wormhole. They thought of the face that Alfred would make when he would know that they had already ran away beneath his nose. He can't even stop them due to his overconfidence.
The engine of their ship soon came to life and the ship started to move to the launching pad. Val pressed the button to open the door ,however, what welcomed them was utter silence. But ,soon another door opened but what came out of it was two beautiful fairies along with iron monsters. Cough! Cough! A troop with Heavy exoskeleton armours.
" Surrender or die ", the fairies voice boomed .
Mark panicked and started cursing " See, at last this cube is the reason for our death. Fuck you cube! " . Mark's face lost its colour as he saw something unimaginable. He saw the cube shaking as if it was just provoked by his profanity. He rubbed his eyes and saw the cube again , however, everything was now normal. He thought " It must be my hallucination ", and laughed on his cowerdism.
Soon, Val took out another button that looked like a judge's budger and pressed it.
Everything became still. The girls felt immense danger and ran towards the door they entered leaving the troops behind.
Boom! Boom!
The whole launching gate was blasted off. The girls scaped in the nick of time otherwise they will also be like those troops that were thrown into the wormhole. Their bodies twisted and they disappeared.
Val's ship soon boomed and left the 'ark'.
Both Val and Mark sighed. Now, they can rest. However, they didn't knew a enormous eye was observing them from afar. Their ship rushed in the direction normal to the gluttonous rock and the Interstellar ark.
