Axel was glad to be back home.
Mostly because it was snowing all the time and also because he was closer to Family.
He walked outside his cabin, his eyes falling the white haired female wearing a white dress with a white furred wolf and whit haired boy circling her.
Ravens eyes moved up as she met him and she blushed, looking back down at the children, saying something Axel could not hear as they both looked up at him "Papa!"
They both ran, her, the white furred pup as fast as she could while the boy, just some seconds faster.
When they reached him, he pulled them into his arms, the girl licking as the boy hugged him tight "Briar, Kyle. What can I offer you for coming all the way here?"
The pup suddenly turned back to her human form, Kyle grimacing "Get cloths you nude monkey"
Briar frowned "Papa, he's being mean again"
Typical Kyle.
"Why don't you both go in huh?" He asked "I need to talk Mummy for a bit"
They both nodded, running off into the Cabin.
Axel looked up as he watched his wife, stare at him from under the trees, a small playful look in her eyes.
He smiled.
He could remember....
They had won the war, a little loss on Crescent Pack, but Jethro was pushing them back to shape, only problem was Jordan was missing, again, which irritated Axel but he had other things to worry about.
After she had gotten out of her shock, which had lasted longer than he had expected, her first question had been about Kyle.
When she saw the look in his eyes, she told him to get out.
As Axel slept alone then, he did not have any dreams with Misha in it, because the person who kept resurrecting her soul, Sirius, was dead, so she could not come.
But the next day, Raven had called him to her cabin.
She had been sitted with the babies in her arms, both asleep as she said "Are you aware that one of them is a vampire?"
"Sixty pervert vampire, fourth percent wolf" He replied as she looked up at him "And she is sixty percent wolf, forty percent vampire. Not as fifty-fifty as we hybrids are"
"Is.... Is that a good thing?"
"You had hybrids at your first trial" He replied calmly, hoping not to upset her and put himself more in her bad books "After my Mother had me, she tried again and had twins, they were Alpha's but normal wolf Alpha's"
She nodded "I saw them, their eyes are always red. I remember them coming to see our babies"
Our.....
She said our.
Thank the goddess.
"And Misha too"
His head shot up "What?"
Raven looked dreamy as she stared into space "I.... I was in a meadow, with flowers, and the twins, sleeping next to me and she came. She.... She looked so different. So.... Much more beautiful. She said they were beautiful too but she did not have much time..... She said she was moving on but before that, she needed to apologize"
Axel remembered Noona saying something about how it took time for people who killed themselves to move but said nonetheless "Apologize?"
"She said she was sorry.... For everything and returned.... The camera she took before"Raven said with a small smile "She.... She said it actually belonged to me in the first place"
Misha apologizing AND returning something she took?
She sounded possessed.
Raven turned to him "And when I asked what she was talking about, she said that you would explain, and oh, she says sorry to you too"
Ah, Axel knew there was obviously a catch.
Leave all the explaining to Axel so Raven never forgives him.
How smart.
"What was she talking about?" Raven asked.
"I don't know how...."
"I'd ask and you answer then?' She cut in.
He gulped, but nodded.
"You.... Your name isn't really Axel North or Thorn. It's Axel of the North, and Sirius.... Sirius was your cousin"
The fact she used was oddly hurt him but he nodded "Yes, he was"
"He said that you were just being with me because you could not accept Misha's death" She said "Is that true?"
"No" He immediately blurted out "Jesus.... I love you"
"And you loved Misha, but you rejected her"
"She HURT me" He said "Misha wasn't...."
"Wasn't what?"
"Wasn't what you thought she was"
"What do you mean?"
"She's.... She's been using you. All this time, making you be loyal to her so that no one would ever notice you. So that you would think no one wanted you and you would want only her, she manipulated you Raven"
"I know"
"What?"
Raven's lips formed into a small smile as she looked down at her baby, the girl "Do you know? She has red hair and green eyes like Misha too?"
"What do you mean by you knew?" Axel asked.
She sighed "I was aware she was always pretending around me. She hated me, I know but..... But I liked the fact she even tried wasting time to notice me because no one seemed to want me around. It wasn't real.... But I felt love with her"
Axel's heart had sunk at that "That.... I'm sorry"
She let out a small chuckle "That was why I was so mad that her Mate hurt her. That YOU hurt her. I was wondering what she did to you that could be possibly worse than what she did to me"
"She cheated on me with Sirius"
She turned to him "What?"
Axel sighed "Sirius.... Had always loved her. Always. Who couldn't? For a while, I had not had time to come see her due to things I had doing and she.... She wrote letters, telling me to come but for the first time, but I didn't obey..... When I finally got time and told her I was coming. I found her in bed with him..... Apparently, she wanted to get me jealous so I'd fight for her"
"But that didn't happen"
He shook his head "No, I.... I couldn't...."
"When that secretary of yours touched you.... I have never felt the urge to kill as that day" Raven replied with a laugh "It's okay, I understand"
He looked at her "You... You do?"
She turned to him "I'm not mad anymore. Just no more secrets"
"I swear, no more" He replied as she laughed.
"I haven't given them names yet" She replied, looking back at the babies "What do you think?"
"Briar and Kyle" He replied without missing a heartbeat.
"Hmmm" She said "The two people that saved our lives. Logical" Then she looked up at him "Come"
He did.
She placed a kiss on his forehead "I am sorry about Kyle"
He smiled "I have him again. I am very glad"
She smiled back "I.... I would like to go to the North with my children, and stay. Leaving Lisa with the Pack"
His eyes had widened "But...."
"I suppose Rin and Elle would have to come along as they would like it too" She continued "Don't you think so?"
"But we aren't...."
She kissed him.
It was small, but tender and gentle, and it reverberated on Axel's skin as she pulled away and said "You are my Mate. Bond or no bond, you are mine"
And he was.
Yet now, even as he stared at her as she walked to him, love filled his soul and his every being.
He pulled her into a kiss first, her warn lips matching his near cold ones as his hand pulled her closer by the waist while hers pushed his head more to her.
As they pulled away, she looked at him and smiled "You smell like saliva"
He pouted "Not my fault that my daughter thinks I'm sweet"
"I think you're sweet too" She said.
He smiled.
Though Noona had foretold also that they would not live long enough to watch the twins grow as more wolves would try killing the hybrid family, she also assured them that they would be safe.
And that kept them happy.
"Mama!"
Briar ran to them, red hair bouncing and blinking as her green eyes sparkles wearing a while turtleneck sweater and trousers "My eyes turned blue!"
Raven smiled "Really?"
She nodded happily "When Kyle and I held hands, both our eyes turned blue!"
Axel bent down and ruffled the little ones hair "I guess your abilities means you both being together then"
"Are my little ones already having superpowers?"
They all turned as a grown Elle walked to the cabin, a smiling Rin in her arms as the twins followed suit.
Kyle came out "I can turn things inside out! But.... But only when Briars neck, which sucks. She's annoying"
"You're annoying"
Ash sighed as he walked to Briar and kissed her head "Twin fight. Finally, someone that understands how I feel when Asteri is mean"
Asteri rolled her eyes, moving to Kyle "You both really are very annoying"
"True" Kyle added.
Briar and Ash stuck both their tongues out.
Elle rolled her eyes "Everyone is annoying, except me of course"
Everyone suddenly began to mumble as the girl gasped "Sacre bleu! You all think that" Then she faced Rin "What do you think my love?"
Rin, ever blushing answered meekly "You're not"
"See?"
"He says that because you'd beat him into a pulp if he says otherwise" Axel said.
Echoes of 'true' filled the air.
Elle rolled her eyes again, smiling anyway "Whatever"
Raven smiled "I cooked. Who's hungry?"
The two pair of twins eyes lit up as the four said "Hotdogs?"
"And other healthier things. Papa also got ice cream too" She said with a smile.
"Yay!" Everyone quickly began to rush in as Elle passed Raven a kiss and a hug to Axel, Rin waving before she pulled them in.
Axel turned to Raven "I don't remember buying ice cream"
She smiled "I know. I just want to see disappointment on their faces"
He laughed "I love you, Ravenna North"
"And I love you, Axel North"
