"You don't know him?" Jake asked Sara.
"No, who is he?"
"Ok, ask Wikipedia, they have the answer…Hahaha!" Jake laughed.
I pointed with my finger to him, "that's why I love you, bro."
She did take her phone to search; I interrupted her "Type Joan…"
"Joan Fitzgerald, I know; I saw it on your card…"
"No, it is Joan Birmingham" I answered with a smile on my face and full of pride.
"Joan Birmingham…" she talked to herself.
"Don't you want to ask why or how my real name wasn't written on the identity card?"
"No, it's obvious that you don't want people to…"
Her son completed her speech, "to know you…"
"Jake this family is going to make me crazy…" they really began annoying me with their intelligence.
"And, here we are…Wow, it looks like we have a billionaire here…!"
I began smiling "Thank you, that's an honor."
"Excuse me, how old are you?"
"Twenty-two, young lady," Jake answered her sarcastically.
"Would you fuc*ing tell me, How a little child, like you, could own this wealth!" in a rage she said.
"You know, hard work and…" I was speaking before Jake interrupted me in a cold accent and destroyed all that I was about to say "Legacy, he is a legacy."
"Oh! Is that So, I was wondering…" her rage vanished and she activated mockery mode.
"See Josh, I don't want you to be like this kind of man who depended on their parents, I want you to build your future with your hands." she continued.
"It's not my fault to be a billionaire's son, I didn't choose my parents." I tried to answer; signs of sadness appeared on me.
-She didn't just have beautiful green eyes; she had the eyes of a navigator, that she could capture anything.-
She stopped joking about that as she saw that I got sad about that subject.
After a while of silence, "Now, may I leave?"
"No, you can't."
I asked again, "What? I showed you who I'm and that I have the money to cover your treatment's cost!"
"In my eyes, you are the same person; homeless or a billionaire, I don't trust either of you."
Jake gave me that look, and I got it immediately; she passed the first test with a hundred percent success, she didn't judge the book by the cover.
As she said that, she became more interesting in my eyes, and I decided to do what she wanted.
"What do you want? In short," I pulled a chair to sit on, faced her, and asked.
"Actually, I don't want your money, I'm a divorced woman who lives with just her son; so, if I have a broken leg and can't stand, then, who is going to take care of my little angel?" she looked so sad, and nearly made me cry.
"I will prevent a maid for you…"
She interrupted me "No! No, no… maids are evils and I can't trust them on my own son."
"They are great, I promise…" I tried to explain.
"Nothing is going to change my mind about maids… I was born in a rich family too and we used to have a maid, my mom had a lot of work as my dad, so we grew up with maids… and I prefer to die than to let my own son in a maid's hands." Her voice and her sharp accent were confirming that she would never change her mind.
"You don't want money, you don't want maids, and what do you want?"
"Money is not always the solution, you know…" I interrupted her "What about maids?"
"The maids are not the solution too because…I mean they are not the ones who hit and broke my leg…" she said while descending her head and touched her injury in a sad scene.
"And what did you mean by that…?" I had a bad feeling.
"I mean that you need to help me…" she was talking "That what I'm trying to…" I raised my voice.
"…Personally." She continued.
"Personally? It's impossible."
I couldn't believe what she was saying; I thought that she is insane when she said that.
"Why it's impossible? Because you are a wealthy man who doesn't have time for poor people like me…!"
"Why do you hate rich people that much…? And yes, what about the companies I have, who is going to manage them…?" Sara was annoyed and didn't want to respond "…Sara, look! I can't help you like this I really can't, but you can choose another way."
"I want you to help me personally, and if you don't want to, then, Goodbye! You can leave."
What a stubborn woman! I never saw someone like her in my life.
I left the room with Jake; and something was hurting me in the inside of my body, "man, I don't feel good,"
Jake immediately came to see me, "What is it? Boss."
"I feel like something hurting me, here in my chest…"
His worries about me vanished "Yeah, that's normal."
"Normal? What do you mean by normal?"
"It's called conscience"
"No, it's not that" I smiled in a silly way.
And began thinking of what will happen to them, she is lonely just with her kid who needs care, and I was the one who broke her leg.
-I didn't have a choice but to run back to her, and do what she said; and all of that's because my good heart, also…Because she was so interesting, I mean, no person on earth will refuse that's the money and the maids, especially in that tough situation.-
