Chapter 51: Orphanage (III).
Elizabeth's POV
The other older kids nodded in command.
They scattered and took metal pipes and wooden sticks that had sharpened tips, holding it, raising it up to our direction with not much of a hesitation shown in their faces.
They are not kidding around.
I saw the other older kids, mostly boys grabbed the younger kids who are not capable of fighting and ran somewhere to hide.
"Quick, go hide!" One of the older girls in the litter hid with the younger ones.
Victoria and I were left facing the kids, their eyes glaring and breathing heavily.
Now that I look more closely, this girl who stole my key was the leader- the only girl standing in the middle- and was the only girl who didn't hide with the other younger kids.
Intriguing, it would usually be the oldest- bigger looking one out of the pack that would take on the role of being the leader.
