Chapter 3 - 3. Awake

Even with the joyous occasion, the soldiers didn't forget to brought the mute little girl to the house for slaves, there she was graded and displayed for a whole week to sell. With a reason she is too young adding her disabilities, no one is willing to pay for her thus she became a slave to the market, the lowest class of a slave.

Days goes on and the mute little girl didn't retain her innocent demeanor. She became stronger, wiser and too beautiful. At age ten, an ill-mannered old man almost bought her to be his play thing in bed. Adama was only spared when the old man was killed the next day. Starting that day, she hide her face with a mask with a reason of her noticeable beauty.

At age eleven, she saved a six years old little boy that made her promoted from a market slave to a slave of an aristocratic family. Her new life as an owned slave was lighter compared to the heavy chores at the market, she only have to attend the young boy's needs as his personal slave.

The young boy was named Renios Gil Bivios. He is among the three boys born the same day the King on the prophecy was born, with this, Gil was with a special identity just like the two princes who was born the same day as he is. The people of Galliore didn't know whom among the three was the King mentioned in the prophecy thus they worship all the three equally as their future ruler.

Years passed, one after another the five pilgrims was recognized by their artifacts and the King's identity was still unknown. The current emperor then suggested that the five pilgrims must choose among the three whom they will serve. Using a competition, the five pilgrims will recognize their King.

The young boy Gil at age fifteen entered the palace to compete against the two prince to win the five pilgrims' favor and the throne. Facing the schemes of the royal family, Gil's life inside the palace didn't go well but with a help of his wise and smart slave, Adama, the schemes of the royalties didn't go as they plan. With all the hardships and sacrifices of Adama, Gil's emotion towards her developed no longer as his slave, his friend, or his saviour but his lover. The bond of Gil and Adama surpassed the relationship of a master and slave soon they became a couple keeping this relationship only between the two of them.

The competition continued soon with the help of Adama, Gil won the five pilgrims' favor. He sat to the throne was recognized by the people of Galliore as their saviour, their King.

Soon, on the day of celebrating Adama's day of birth, a character of the word King appeared on her forehead while the five artifacts bow to her. This scene was seen only by the five pilgrims and Adama's beloved, Gil now known as King Hivian. With Adama's words, her identity as the king in the prophecy was kept only known by the five pilgrims and her beloved. Hiding her position as the real king, she became the hidden king in the prophecy.

Leading the five pilgrims to win back the glory of the kingdom, the outsiders didn't know Adama is their real king showering their praises to the wrong person. When the kingdom of Galliore earn back the glory of the whole land, Gil didn't waste time and married Adama whom in the eyes of the people of Galliore was not deserving to be their queen.

True to their thoughts, she didn't deserve to be a mere queen whom only under a power of her king.

The five pilgrims stayed silent under their real King's order.

Adama with her own ability, she won the heart of the people of Galliore. The whole kingdom loved and worshipped her. The King Hivian won many battles but their queen improved their way of living with her unique ways of cultivation of foods and an easier way to find a source of water. Her world is full of sweets and praise not noticing the illicit relationship of her king and her comrade. She didn't notice the envy and fear of the king when he saw his own people worshipping her loving her more than him. She didn't notice the envy gaze of her comrade her friend her sister when she earn the position of a queen of the kingdom and the man she loves.

She was killed by her two most loved and trusted people in the world.

At the middle of the joyous occasion, a five years old young girl was sorrounded by corpses of people and two behemoth bodies of tigers. The little girl stood at the middle of the colesium as she stare at a blank space in daze of what she just saw.

She had seen her future...her past...whatever it was called, it was all a mistake.

She had not recovered yet with the view of her clansmen dead bodies and her own death flashing on her head continuously when a strong force was pulling her soul, she closed her eyes to stabilize the sensation inside her.

It didn't take long, the little girl opened her eyes. The full of rage, hate, and betrayal eyes before was now replaced by a calm clear full of wisdom pair of beads. The little girl's eyes travel to the dead bodies of her tribe then to the joyous occasion of the people excitedly rushing out to see the five artifacts outside wasting the opportunity to see the King herself.

No one took a notice of the the supposed mute little girl whispered to the air,

"Yaken, Adama, miakan hijh ji."

It's her acceptance to lead their tribe. A tribe that no one to lead...for now.
