The day went by in a flash, faster than Becca had hoped which meant the time of dread was rapidly approaching. She knew very well that she couldn't get out of it as her friend, Navaya, was a very persistent person who rarely took 'no' for an answer. So Becca decided to forget trying to escape from it and just face the music. It wasn't like she would stay there forever, just a few hours, right? But those few hours were going to be hell for her. She just prayed that Navaya wouldn't make her do something crazy or set her up with a stranger.
After getting off work that evening, she headed home, and seeing as she had two whole hours before Navaya comes to pick her up, she decided to eat dinner and chill for a few minutes. While scrolling through Instagram, she got a text from Navaya and sighed after reading the text and thought what to say.
Navaya: 'Have you gotten ready yet?'
