Everything that happened after the judge read out the verdict had been a blur. Reporters were camped outside the courthouse and as soon as the doors swung open, they rushed at him, shoving their mics and cameras into Leo's face. He gritted his teeth against the barrage of sounds and voices as the officers pulled him away from the throng of people to the waiting vehicle. He followed willingly, wanting to be as far away from them as possible. Leo's case had somewhat become popular and reporters were crawling over themselves to get a direct statement from him.
Before the door slammed shut in his face, he caught sight of Becca stepping out of the courthouse, clutching Regina's hand as they walked. That was the last thing he saw before the doors slid shut.
