Martino's eyes opened slowly, blinking dazedly at the space around him. His eyes felt heavy, his head throbbing in pain. He let out a groan as he tried to move his limbs but couldn't. His drowsy gaze fell on the steel chains binding his arms and feet. The haze cleared. He jerked forward but the restraints held him back. His once lazy gaze was now sharp and frantic as he scanned the room he was in. He was in a hard wooden seat and when he tried to tug at his restraints, his hands barely moved with how tightly he was bound.
" I wouldn't do that if I were you?" The voice made Martino turn back so fast, the action almost snapped his neck. Johnny stepped into the room and shut the door firmly behind him. The sound of the locks sliding into place felt ominous in the nearly empty space. Soon Martino found himself stared up at the last person he thought he would have to face again.
" Ramus, what is the meaning of this?" Martino snarled.
