He looked agitated when he came home. Ernesto hadn't noticed her as he rushed up to his bedroom. He looked in pain. He look seconds from clawing out his own skin.
Angela followed him on silent feet. She got to Ernesto's bedroom door and found it left ajar. Controlled by unwavering curiosity and concern, she peered inside and saw him ripping off one article of clothing after the other. His coat was the first thing off, then he tugged on his belt before pulling it free. His shirt came off next and he stood there naked from the waist up.
" Is something wrong?" She asked. If Ernesto was surprised by her presence, he didn't show it. The taut muscles on his back eased visibly.
He turned around and gave her a smile. It looked forced. His smile faltered when the worry lines on Angela's face deepened.
