Damien froze. The all too familiar voice came from behind him. Every nerve in his body screamed at him to turn around but a large part of him feared where this confrontation would take them. He didn't expect to have one this soon after what happened the last time, nor did he expect Leo to be waiting out for him in front of his own home.
" What is this about, Leo? What do you want from me?" He was just inches from his front door, keys in hand. Damien didn't bother asking how Leo got into his property or why there was seemingly no guard in sight. Contrary to what his brother liked to say, he had no fear or felt intimidated by Leo. Damien was merely aware of how far Leo could go when provoked, something he hoped Ernesto would never get the displeasure of witnessing.
" Where have you been?" Leo asked. His tone was calm but there was an underlying manic energy, chaotic like a churning sea.
