Becca scampered into the room next to Leo's, leaning on the door right after she slammed it shut behind her.
She inhaled a gush of air into her lungs and stared at the room.
White walls enclosed the space, decorated elegantly with white and golden furniture. A bookshelf on one of the four corners of the room and a magnificent chandelier hung on the ceiling, illuminating the room even more.
Becca felt her feet heavy as she dragged herself towards the bed, stopping right in front of it. Spotless sheets matching the color of the walls around her laid neatly on the bed with a soft cozy blanket drooped on it as well. White pillows leaning on the headboard, looking inviting but not to Becca. All she did was stare at it.
Slowly, she lowered herself on the bed— it was cold but she didn't bother covering her body with the blanket. It wouldn't help anyway. Nothing in the room could help.
