Eli's POV
"At this rate, I will be dizzier than a kangaroo trying to do ballet. Can you settle down?" yelled George.
Right now, we were in my office at the company headquarters, SHINE. Inc. I am the CEO and George is the infamous president of the company. We dabble in a lot of things earning us our name food, entertainment, technology, clothing. We had our hands in almost all of the booming industries of the world hence our fame.
Right now, we were in my office and I was very nervous. I was pacing left and right and I was quiet uncomfortable. Jedak was whiny and restless. He kept on chanting for me to go and fetch something. What exactly, I don't know. I was too occupied with the incident of a few days ago.
The girl that we saved has been lingering in my thoughts and dreams so much so that I haven't done anything productive in the last few days. I was antsy and unsettled and George didn't like it.
"If you are so worried about that girl, we can go and pay her a visit. That should be able to keep you calm and have your thoughts settled. Then maybe you can concentrate on the project with Star group." He rattles off, clearly pissed at my inattention yet also worrying for me.
"Do you think that I would be allowed to enter there or do you think that I want to go there? Humph, who says I want to go there anyway?" I huffed in one breath and soon regretted it.

"Um, hello. We are here to see a June Grace." Says George as he leans against the counter at the hospital reception.
In the end, he won and we came. Though I don't know why I easily gave in. This is so unlike me. I look to George who is very busy trying to flirt with a nurse and I sigh.
"I wish it can be as easy for me." I think as I see George giggling off with the young nurses. It has always been easy for him to get girls and actually keeps them. It's a wonder he hasn't yet found his fated one.
"Maybe if you had actually tried with all those girls, we wouldn't be so alone." Whines Jedak as he pants hard.
His condition was worrying but as he is an egoistic bastard, Jedak will not say a word. He likes t act all tough so much so that it pisses me off sometimes.
"Get out of your head, Eli. I got the room number, let's go." Bellows George, earning him a few scoldings from the senior nurses. That's George for you, loved by all regardless of age.

We walked down a series of halls and took an elevator all the way to the VIP wing. I was shocked when George told me of this because I took it that this little girl was nothing but an ordinary human.
'So how was her family able to get her a VIP room?'
Interesting…
"This is the room, 1509. Huh, it's like a hotel room number. Now this is style. Well, what are you waiting for? Knock!" says George as I reach for the door.
In one arm was a bouquet of yellow roses, pink tulips and sunflowers while the other hand had some cookies. I don't know if this is what people usually eat when they are sick but it would have been weird if I had come without anything so I picked whatever I could.
Shifting the cookies, I knocked on the door, expecting a nurse to open the door. Instead, a slim guy with a disheveled look appeared at the door and he seemed to have been crying. Honestly, if not for his gait, I would have thought that he was a female.
"Can I help you?" he asks and his voice further cements my thought of his gender. George nudges me in the ribs, reminding me to speak.
'Weird. When have you ever lost your composure?' Jedak asks, something that I would like to know as well.
"Um, hello. I am looking for June Gracie." I say, trying to regain my bearing.
"There's no June Gracie. Who's asking?" he replies and I feel a hint of displeasure from his tone, a strong hate even.
"Well, we would like to visit her as she was injured a short while ago."
George steps in while giving his hair a side swoop and I feel a headache coming on. That's what he does whenever he has gotten a new interest in sight.
"Look, just because you know June Gracie doesn't mean I can let you in. Moreover, such a person isn't so scram." Replies the feminine looking guy whilst preparing to slam the door in our faces.
'Just great. You couldn't even get the one thing that I wanted.' Complains Jedak before going completely quiet and I really want to swear at someone. Just what was going on?
"No, wait Spencer. It's alright. That's the guy who saved JJ." Comes a soft voice from inside. The girl with a purple bob cut appeared and I felt really grateful for this little glimmer of light.
"Do you know them, Z?" he asks all defensive and I feel he is about to blow his top.
"yes, I do. They are the…"
She didn't get to finish her statement as a voice I know all too well interrupted.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Eli Farrell."
