Being friends, none of them had said anything about their past; they've been friends for barely 2 weeks and Cooking Fest was schedule to start this week. Phoenix had her plate full trying to make the first officially airing of Cooking Fest a success and Sterling was supporting her from the background, making sure that some certain people didn't try to intrude…
"Hey, what's up?"
"Yeah, I'm just here doing my best and trying to make sure that the first episode of Cooking Fest is TV worthy,"
"Don't worry, it will be okay. You've got this,"
"I know, I mean, it is my dream and I can't afford to mess up,"
"Do you need my help in anyway?"
"Nahh, your support is just what I need,"
"Okay. If you need anything, I'm just a call away,"
Sterling could literally feel how Phoenix stressed. Within 2 weeks, they've gradually become friends talking about random stuffs, calling and checking up on each other; basically taking baby steps.
SATURDAY (DAY OF COOKING FEST; OFFICIAL OPENING)

"I'm Debby Williams and I'm here with the ever delightful and delectable Host, Miss Phoenix Mills. I will be your co-host for this awesome program, Cooking Fest and I hope y'all are ready to learn a thing or two from this. Miss Mills, over to you,"
"Thank you Miss Debby, I'm sure we'll make a great team,"
"I'm sure we would,"
"Okay, as you all have heard, this is a new program and it is called Cooking Fest. Before we dive into the main aspect, I'll give you all a run-down of what Cooking Fest is all about so you all won't get lost. Cooking Fest is a TV program that will be aired once a week during the weekends where I and my co-host talk about healthy diets amongst others things and also show some of my recipes and then at the end of every month, I and my co-host will organize a mini-competition were the winners are later hired at PHOENIX CORP or are given cash rewards. This is a summary of what this show is about. Now in my bid to help curb the rate of unemployment in the society, my company; PHOENIX CORP came up with this wonderful idea cause at the end of the every month, PHOENIX CORP hires 2 of its winners from the competition or give them cash prizes and by the end of the year, the company would have hired 24 winners aside from its normal recruitment process. I feel like I'm talking way too much and not giving my fellow host the chance to say anything. Over to you, Miss Debby," Phoenix felt the euphoria of finally being on live TV doing her own show which she loved. It was a dream come true for her and her heart swelled with pride at how far she'd come.
"I don't think here's much for me to say because you've said it all. Now, it's time to dive into the business of the day. Now, Miss Mills, what health benefits do you have for us today or what do you have for us today?"
"Okay. I know that some of you are waiting for the recipes which I will share with you with time but definitely not today. Today, I want to share a secret vegetable with incredible health benefits that we probably do not take seriously; Cucumber. Cucumber has got more than 20 health benefits and I'll mention about 5 of them to give you a clue."
"That's fantastic! I'm pretty sure that the viewers are eager to learn as I'm i!"
"Some of the benefits of Cucumber are as follows; it contains antioxidants, it promotes hydration, it may aid in weight loss, it may lower blood sugar, it helps in clearing up dark spots or blackheads, and it is easy to add to your diet amongst other benefits. It's funny how we don't really know most of these secrets and that's why Cooking Fest is here, to help you live a long healthy life!"
"Oh wow, to be honest, I never really take Cucumber seriously but what about those that are allergic to Cucumber or simply put, they don't like it?"
"Well, they are various vegetables apart from Cucumber that also have health benefits and I'll be sharing some of them as time goes on, so no one is left out. Well, I think that we're out of time but I'll say these last words; don't trivialize your health cause as the adage goes "health is wealth","
"I won't agree less, you're very correct there. Until we meet again next weekend, do well to anticipate it because Miss Mills has got a surprise for you all,"
"Hahahaha, I guess we'll have to wait and see don't we?"

"Oh right, I forgot about that, I'll do well to check it out. I made some mistakes right?"
"Miss Mills, no one is perfect on their first trial and I must say that you did great!"
"Okay, thank you. I'm going to go meet the production crew and say thank you to them. Bye,"

MEETING WITH THE PRODUCTION CREW
"I really want to thank you guys for making today a dream come true for me, I really appreciate all of you,'
"It's no bother at all Miss Mills, it was our pleasure working with you to achieve this and I'm pretty sure that my co-workers will agree with me and the audience too,"
"You're being far too kind Mr. Dylan but I'm grateful for the kind words,"
"It really was a blast, a breath of fresh air," one of the production crew members said and others started pouring in their reviews and what they thought about it.
"You guys have been kind. I'll treat you all to a meal soon,"

"Denzel, have you check the reviews on the station's website?"
"Yes sir, I have and more reviews are coming in,"
"Okay, I'm going to check them out after I have called her, she should be done by now,"
After a few rings, Phoenix picked up
"Hey, I was about to call you, how was it, did you like it, have you checked the reviews yet? I'm super nervous to check it out,"
"Hello to you too and yeah, I watched it and I think that you were absolutely amazing and as for the review, Denzel checked it out and said that the show has a lot of reviews but I'm yet to check it out,"
"Denzel?"
"Yeah, Denzel, my secretary; you should know him,"
"It's not that; I'm just wondering why Denzel is with you. Where are you?"
"I'm at the office,"
"The office, but it's a weekend and there's no one over there?"
"Well, I dragged him here with me because I just wanted to watch it from the office, there's no obvious reason though,"
"You really are crazy, Sterling," Sterling couldn't get enough of her laughter; it sounded like music to him and he just couldn't get enough of it.
