The ferocity with which they collide can only be characterized as extraterrestrial. This isn't even my world, and still, I'm quite sure they aren't ordinary. To put that in perspective, just the change in air pressure was almost enough to wipe out at least a mile in each direction. The deer offered me its tail to hang onto while they clashed; it was the only thing keeping me alive. That's when I heard a voice speak to me.
!!!: Human, you are a formidable opponent... I can feel your immense power; you are not a creature who should exist on our plane of reality — yet you seem to be very unintelligent and incapable of fighting for a being who has transmigrated. For the time being, remain here and I'll defend you...
I fall backwards and immediately back away on all fours in astonishment — I wasn't afraid, but this seemed like another breach in reality. Is it only this realm, or might the animals on my old planet talk as well? Since I've been here, I've felt like my sense of the world has been crumbling. I was completely lost after that, that's when in the midst of my confusion this monster used the opportunity to unroot a whole tree in the blink of an eye and attempts to hurl it at my head.
CRASSHHHHHH - The deer saves me once again.
!!!: Human, stand back, this beast seems to have a problem with you in particular; I'll take care of it. Stay inside of this barrier.
A solid transparent sphere develops around me.
HENRY: What's your name?
I reach out to touch it, only to discover I'm imprisoned within the orb.
DEER: I don't have one.
The start of one of the most destructive fights I've ever witnessed commenced as soon as those words were said. The fight was very fast-paced, and the devastation to the environment rivalled that of gods. The deer then continues to assault him, but this time with a new level of animosity. Adding some Aura to its claws and striking and slicing at the bear. The deer then launches a double claw assault on the bear, in which it leaves a series of x-shaped claw marks on the bear's chest.
The bear then begins to regenerate and behaves as if it were a wild animal, its claws expanding the length of an additional arm and swinging furiously as it goes on a savage rampage. Sitting there, I began to gasp for air because of the fast-paced nature of the battle, I forgot to take a breath while I was sitting there watching it. It was obvious to even me, a novice human, that the deer was in another class, as if it were a sadist who took pleasure in its prey's misery. Not to add that the bear hasn't struck a single blow; whenever an assault comes near enough to land , the deer just vanishes just as the strikes are about to fall. Almost as if it has instant teleportation.
As the fight rages on that's when I first saw the usage of magic. The deer goes on to produce five air cyclones, completely destroying the world around us. The beast its attacking, upon closer inspection has jagged red bones protruding from both sides of its neck and shoulders. It has matte black fur with the exception of a thick crimson covering on its back.
HENRY: What the fuck, am I somehow involved with this circumstance? Why is the magnolias symbol on his chest?
FFWWOOOMM!!
To beat the cyclones, the bear utilizes these bright, incredibly fast orbs made of light that explode from inside the cyclones. It was inconceivable for my eyes to comprehend what I was seeing. That seems to be a kind of light-based wizardry. It causes an explosion never witnessed before by humanity as far as I'm aware, as well as increased air pressure and damage to the surrounding area. I would have died if it hadn't been for this shield.
DEER'S POV
My wind magic is more powerful but seems to be not working, if I use any higher tier wind magic, my shield may be destroyed, I am not powerful enough to utilize both at the same time when I am weakened, and this beast looks to be almost mythological in comparison to me, who is a true mythical beast. If everything else fails, I'll have to use my property magic.
DEER: WIND COLLAPSE!
An assault that causes a creature to become too heavy to move, causing it to remain immobilized. Let's see how you fair against this, you beast. As I approach the bear at supersonic speeds, it manages to fire a beam of light from its mouth at me, twisting its head to attack me. I manage to avoid it, but it hits everything behind me, including the shield, but not enough to cause it to shatter.
As if that wasn't annoying enough, the beast starts to emit light from its eyes as well. At first, it seemed to be a desperate effort to attack me, but after I dodged the first of his three light assaults, his attack headed straight for the human. Why is this beast so hell-bent on murdering this kid? I'm beginning to believe this is a personal matter. Was this beast brought in by someone to hold this kid captive? This savage beast didn't attack me until I protected this brat now that I think about it.
DEER: CHRONO STASIS!
This attack causes my opponents or their attacks to become immobile. In the end, I was able to stop the bear's repeated assaults on the child...In the same instant that I am successful in one endeavor, this beast, who seems to be keeping up with my speed, conjures an endless onslaught of light-based daggers that seem to have no end. The strain of navigating my way between his assaults is becoming too much for me; moving at these speeds while in a weakened condition is enough to make me perspire a bit. His assaults have a mind-boggling amount of strength; he is essentially terraforming the surrounding regions with his onslaught.
Following the beast's path and stopping an increasing number of light-based strikes, it starts to irritate me that the beast continues changing its focus to the child and forcing me to block numerous attacks aimed at him, resulting in my slowing down.
DEER: This is getting to be tiring, I need to put a stop to it.
HENRY'S POV
Due to the light assaults that were heading my way, I immediately dive and curl up into a protective manner.
HENRY: Dude, pick on someone your own size, jackass.
Why does this bear want me so badly — what the hell did I ever do to it? I knew this child had terrible karma if he was living alone in the woods at the age of twelve. Nonetheless, it was amazing to see these beasts battle.
DEER: Hey kid, pay attention, this is going to be my special attack to end this.
HENRY: With that confidence, it better be. - I whimpered
My voice trembles. Suddenly, the deer unleashes a barrage of projectiles that explode hitting the other beast. It was an assault that occurred too quickly for the eyes to follow, and it happened so instantaneously that even the bear couldn't comprehend it. The parts that did hit, decayed, resulting in the beast to lose its balance. The beast regrows the destroyed portions of its body only to be bombarded once again, this time losing pieces of its Internal organs, abdomen, and claws
HENRY: Whoa — What is that?
DEER: It's time magic. I cast spells that substantially increases or decreases the age of anything it strikes.
DEER'S POV
Though, they can withstand it if they can regenerate quickly enough or are generally stronger than me. Not to mention the fact that property magic has a colossal price tag for whomever utilizes it.
DEER: Time Pulse! - This blast atomizes creatures on a molecular level and renders them incapable of regenerating. Individual atoms are rewinded to the point that your body has no clue that anything ever existed and, as a result, cannot recreate it.
One of my most unused strikes. I've never had to use it against an opponent unless I wanted them dead. A beam of time is launched at the bear, wiping nearly all of its structure and leaving just the skeletal remnants and some major organs, despite that fact, it is still managed to live.
DEER: Wow, you made it through? That is fantastic. I don't think it was necessary to reduce the impact by more than half in this case… Alas, the fight is finished. This was not my battle; I was just assisting you. Come, you must deal the final blow as a sign of respect, child.
HENRY'S POV
This deer certainly speaks high and mighty, but wasn't it struggling even a little during the battle?
HENRY: All right, I'll accept your offer. I've never hunted one of these things before…
The only time I have ever seen anything so mutilated was during the horrific hangings of my ancestors in my homeland. I'll put you out of your suffering in the same way that I did for them. I approach the almost atomized bear, which stares me down with visible pure hatred in its eyes.
HENRY: Give me a break, even your penis is vaporized and you're still glaring at me?
I gently un-sheathe my sword and I bring my blade up to its neck, just as I'm about to sever its head...
BEAR: Wait...that crest on your hilt...you're...don't tell me you're part of the Magnolias, are you?
HENRY: I must be, I have a crest with that name on the back. Do you have any idea who I am or where I come from? Is this child under a spell of bad luck of some kind?
DEER: So.... You must be the youngest son who vanished two years ago? He's not particularly well-known for having excellent fortune...haha
**Flashback**
Instantly that sentence sent me into the depths of this kid's mind. It feels so strange, just a minute ago I was with the snarky deer and now I'm floating somewhere.
*sobs*
Elric: What was wrong with me...why couldn't I be born as anybody else? It's not my fault that I'm not as talented as they believe I should be...
That kid has a physical look that is comparable to mine at the moment. This is his memories, please stop crying, it's heartbreaking to watch you sobbing like a baby while wearing my new face.
Elric: I'm baffled as to why you would bring me into this world just for the purpose of torturing me. Why don't you accept me since you are meant to be my parents?
Whoaaa - Is this his family, I cant see anyone's face. How did we find ourselves in a luxurious study room, which at first glance seems to be in a royal castle? In any case, this must imply that he has around 6 siblings. They seem to be at least a few years older than him based on their height. They seem to be very powerful and muscular as well, and they all appear to be male.
Elric Magnolia (Father): We must keep this terrible mistake hidden from the public eye. Although I am unable to take your life since you have the magnolia's blood coursing through your veins, I am still able to condemn you to exile. Though it may not seem so, I still regard you as my son, and this must be done in order to maintain our power in the kingdom. As a token of my grief, I will bestow upon you the present that we have spent our wealth on in anticipation of your birth. This blade is one-of-a-kind, and there are no materials available to replicate it in the modern day. It is completely indestructible.
Wait, that's the blade that I currently have with me. I knew it has to be worth something, did he say they spent their entire fortune on this one blade? If he is willing to give it to him then he must at least care a little bit or they are just filthy rich. Probably the latter.
Elric Magnolia (Father): You may keep this sword for the time being, but once you reach adulthood, your siblings will take it away from your useless hands. That is, assuming you are still alive at that point. I sincerely regret that you were born only to suffer. If only you were born with a drop of magic.
Wait "If only" there's no way...NO...NO...
**Back to present**
HENRY: No... No... Nononono!
Even with all I've experienced back home, why am I being treated so unfairly? Now that I've been given a second opportunity, it's finished before it's even begun. Suddenly, tears streamed down my cheeks. Why must I always be so unlucky? ...My whole fucking life has been like this. This fucking useless body...I have absolutely NO FUCKING MAGIC.
DEER: What's wrong, child?
HENRY: I just saw a piece of this kids memories; this fucking kid can't wield any type of magic!
DEER: Impossible! As I said, you have the largest amount of magic pool I've ever seen, and quit talking in the third-perso...
BBZZZTT! BOOOOM!
I turn around to see what's going on and see that the beast has some kind of bomb imploding inside of him .He did this while we were conversing and is ready to erupt with enough power to destroy a city. The bomb goes off, and the lower half of my body is obliterated in the blast before I can respond. Due to the intense agony of my scorching flesh and the fact that my lower body is being reduced to dust atom by atom, my face is disfigured. This isn't even the most painful experience I've had compared to my prior life, and it's not even in the top three. It's a new sort of agony, and I can even smell the evaporation of my blood.
To whichever deity it was who has kept an eye on me throughout my life, I hope you all die, because you must have pleasure in enjoying the fruits of my everlasting suffering. At the very least, my agony will not extend into the grave.
DEER: Clock Work Time Manipulation...Reversal!
That's when my body was reversed in time before the bomb went off, and I was instantly behind the deer, protected, when the bomb is about to go off directly in front of him. Why is he taking the explosion head-on...? Was it in an effort to shield me from the blast?
KKZZZZBOOOOOM!!
