I had to fight to keep an actual grin off my face. Not only was there one dark shadow hiding by the cafe looking up, there were four.
Once Camo plummeted five stories a pair of black wings unfurled and a panther shot into the air. Below him a tiger, cheetah, and mountain lion unfurled one of the firefighter trampoline things, how had they managed to hide that from view?
The panther wrapped his paws around the wildcat hugging him and slowing their fall as he dropped down onto the trampoline.
They bounced around awkwardly for a moment before Night sliced him free from the cement and glared up at me.
Dang he is so stupidly heroic sometimes. Kind of makes me want to fall out a building and get wrapped up in....
I shook my head, focus, stick a scowl on your face, you are upset he didn't die. I scowled angrily.
I kept scowling even though I was slightly amused, Camo couldn't even stand, which was fair I did just drop him to his would be death.
Night picked him up by his scruff and walked off after shooting us one more glare. They melted into the night like shadows.
Well that was an entertaining way to spend the evening. I wanted to yawn and go to bed, but instead I continued to flick my tail in annoyance.
"Guess we should have slit his throat." Lyra chuckled nervously her eyes darting between me and Pride.
No one said anything for several long seconds.
"No matter," Pride finally stated, "if he shows his human in public again we will kill on sight. For now we will switch to our next goal, the USA isn't the only country with nuclear codes. We will be targeting a foreign military base next. I do hope none of you get plane sick."
We walked off and I trotted quietly at the rear thinking. Dart and Lyra avoided me like the plague clearly thinking I was planning more murder while Pride showed no interest.
Pride is planning to fly to a nuclear base? And what walk in? Does he even know how that tech works? Maybe I should be glad he seems lame at technology.
Is he thinking it is still the whole turn two keys and pick a destination? It is more complicated than the movies.
I wonder if I could fake an entire missile launch? Nah better not. I would be dead the second they realized it.

Pride dismissed us for the night saying he would send further details later. No one hung around as we all booked it in different directions.
3:30 in the morning, if I hurry I will just be a grump at work, but I won't commit murder from lack of sleep.
I leapt throufh a few alleyways careful to make sure I didn't have any extra tails. Cody the mailman lives in a different apartment.
I arrived at my door and froze. My jaw dropped as five heads turnwd to me
"See told you! Who else would it be." A cheetah smiled at me, "Hi buddy, want to meet the rest of the team?"
Some how I found myself on my new couch looking at Kyle, Ryan, Noah,Oliver, and a mountain lion who wasn't changing.
"So yeah, that roughly sums up the evil snow leopard and its team. Oliver is going to stay here with us for a bit. That's cool right?" Ryan just kept talking.
My place became our place at some point in the last 24 hours. And wait! Now I have two as roommates! Three if you count useless in my head. Whatever I am too tired for this, I'll deal with the extra roomate in the morning.
"You can stay on the couch." I muttered and stalked off to my room.

I took a shower and came back out of my room for a snack and nearly jumped at the pile of cats sleeping in my living room.
"Oh we all decided to stay over if thats cool? Camy here is a little shaken" the mountain lion said.
Camy? Do those two know each other as well? Is one darn cat in this game not connected to others! Oh, well guess there was Jagged and Lilly is only kind of connected. Nevermind, I'm getting a headache from this.

I don't know why but I started putting together snacks for everyone, great now they definitely won't leave. I watched the mountain lion cox the wildcat to eat. Girlfriend? No, maybe family? Oliver had a sister...Olivia? Interesting.
Oliver had stopped shaking and had seperated from his cat who was sitting in his lap.
Tempting to kill it, but the extra body might keep my friends alive. I shut the idea down when the little cat moved jumping onto the chair and staring me in the eyes.
"Uh hi?" I said.
"So it was you." He hopped back down returning to Oliver. "Your eyes match."
