Her eyes popped open, and with the sharp intake of a breath, grace sat up on the bed in an instant.
She looked around her room, her heart thudding loudly against her chest when she found nothing, she slammed her back and took a few deep breaths.
Bringing her hands to cover her face, she focused on catching up with her breathing that she did not even realize she had stopped doing when she had looked around the room. What the hell? What was wrong with her? What was she thinking?
Why was she panicking?
"What the fuck?" She mumbled and placed her hand over her chest with her heart. "What is happening?"
It was quite bright outside, and the light was flooding into the room. She closed her eyes, wincing about it but then decided to get out of the bed anyway.
