"That looks good," Grace said loudly from the balcony that she was standing on. She had a direct view of the dining table that Christian placed the last plate on.
She was still in the clothes of last night and did not bother changing into the night suit that had been kept on the counter of the bathroom next to the sink. She probably smelled at this point, but who cared?
He turned around, as graceful and silent as a leopard and smiled. "Come, join me."
A flutter was felt in her stomach when she saw his smile. It was dazzling..
She could inhale the fragrance of the food from where she was standing. It looked delicious from that point too.
Without missing a beat, Grace went downstairs and took a seat. She first reached for the cup of coffee, but at the same time, Christian caught a hold of it and pulled it away from her.
