Grace felt the hesitation to open her eyes after a long time.
Slowly, she opened them, and it took a moment to remember where she was.
She wondered how long it had been since she no longer wanted to get out of the comfort of the bed. Ever since she had started this job five years ago, the moment her alarm clock would ring, she would be out of the bed and into the shower in a second.
About that, she scowled, how long had it been?
Christian was supposed to wake her up after an hour or maybe two but the way her body felt at the moment, it had to be much more than that.
Slowly, Grace got up from the bed and slid her feet into the shoes before standing up and heading towards the door. She twisted the knob and pulled the door towards her direction and stepped into the office.
Christian's head turned towards her first, followed by William, who, after a brief look, averted his eyes.
"You're awake."
