Christian's hugs were always nice. They were something Grace looked forward to most of the time, because they were nice and warm and two, he was one of the few people she liked hugging.
Grace was the one who initiated breaking the hug. Christian followed, but at the same time, his hand did not just remove itself from her waist. Now, his fingers traced his skin as they removed themselves before he got a hold of her hand and entangled their fingers together through the spaces.
"What are you doing?" Grace stared at the stock difference in their hands. His fingers were not yet touching her nickels, they had only crossed her fingers slightly, but the difference was very visible. His hand almost dwarfed her own.
"Nothing," he whispered before his fingers moved and closed. "You have very beautiful hands."
Taking the compliment as it was, Grace smiled. "Thank you."
He nodded. "What kind of ring would you like?"
