"Excellent, Sir." William smiled before he stepped out of the room, leaving Grace and Christian alone.
Realizing that they were indeed, alone, Grace picked at him from the corner of her eyes.
He was already looking at her.
She smiled, attempting to at least before she stood up. "I think I will leave now."
"Where are you leaving for?" He turned around from where he was standing to look at her, but did not move.
Grace gulped. "it's time to visit my grandmother. I usually have this hour off."
"Sure." He nodded. "The doctor will tell you that I have signed the papers by tomorrow morning."
"By tomorrow morning?" That was not what they had agreed about. "Why can't you do it now?"
He smiled, letting out a small laugh. "because the other people that are meant to sign on it are taking time. If it was just me, this would have already been done, grace. Don't you worry about it."
