"Wow," Dani placed her chin over her hand that was supported by elbow instead of her mouth, "just wow."
"Yup." Grace nodded.
Dani stared at her like she was in a trance, "So much has happened since I've been gone.."
Her eyes then turned accusing. "If you had picked up your phone, or replied to any of my text messages, you would have been all caught up, even if you were continent away from me. But no, you pulled a christian on me too."
Admittedly, both of her friends had stopped communicating with her, and like a stupid desperate friend, Grace had gone back to them. Why?
Dani hissed in guilt and looked away. "I know, I have an explanation for it other than the fact that I got mixed up with my new life and I forgot the meaningful bonds I had created here. If I've ever been given the chance, never do it again. I would have always kept you close to me. I was a stupid girl for what I did."
