It was Saturday; the day Dani was supposed to meet her after resting for a bit.
At first, Grace assumed that whatever Danny had going on had been canceled again, just like it had happened previously. But then again, she was informed by her friend.
Christian was out of the picture so what was she left with? Nobody.
The rest of the week had been quick to pass by and she had actively avoided Christian whenever his name had come up, whether it was for lunch, or it was for some kind of meeting. She had sent the man under her position to go to question. Get the work done. Surprisingly, Christian had not come to do it.
But why had he not?
It was a question that was constantly on her mind. How had he followed through everything? She had to put distance in between them? Because Christian will never allow that to happen. He would always speak through every wall that she would put up and now, he was willingly letting her out walls up.
