He stayed with her, before deciding to indulge her. "I want your help in getting my inheritance, and you can get my help for your grandmother."
No, her eyes burned but she did not want to cry in front of him. "You cannot say that. Not when time and again, you told me that you love and respect her like your own. You cannot use it as your bargaining relationship."
"I don't want to," he sincerely admitted, "and I would never do it, but you need my help. This is going to cost me, if I don't do what I have been asked to, that would cost me too."
