The car had comfortable silence in it. On the way to the apartment, Christian had asked what she wanted to eat, and Grace replied with something Mexican.
While he ordered on the phone, Grace decided to just stare outside the window until they reached his apartment. The food was going to take time but it did not matter at the moment because she was not exactly very hungry.
She almost fell asleep on the way, and Christian had to wake her up. Slightly sleepy, she followed behind him all the way up and to his apartment before sitting on the couch and taking off her heels to lie on it.
Maybe, she could get a nap and before the food would come here. Then she would go to refresh herself in the washroom before coming to eat it. Yep, the plan sounded good.
There was some noise in the background, and she knew that Christian was doing something with the bar. For once, he was not actually on the phone.
