The arrangement followed quite well. They visited her grandmother first, then followed with Adrian that yes, consisted of a five minute visit where only Grace was the one who spoke.
Walking out of Adrian's room, she almost laughed when Christian exhaled a huge breath. He always behaved like he was under a huge burden when he was in the room with Adrian.
"Hey," she looped her arm around his, "I wanted to ask you something."
"Go ahead."
"Where is your grandfather? I've never run into him and not once as Adrian mentioned him. Is he alright?" She has been thinking about this for a while, deciding that this might have been the right time to ask, even though it was a very personal question. Since it was extremely personal, there was no right time to ask it anyway. It was just that they were in the hospital and it was Adrian. It seemed to be slightly alright with the timing.
She looked over to him as she stepped into the left. He was yet to answer.
