Multiple moments later, grace pulled away from him. Her stomach grumbled for the lack of food it smelled and complained about the smell that was wafting to her nose.
"You brought food for me." She sniffed as she looked at all of the contents. "All my favorite food." God, she wanted to cry again.
"Of course, I did. Come sit and eat everything instead of just inhaling the food."
He gave her a light push into the direction of the stool before going over to sit on the other side.
"Why do we never eat on the dining table, but at the counter?" She asked, thinking about how most of the time, they occupied the same seat.
"I like it here."
"I know you like it here. That's why we eat food here. I'm just asking why." She waved her hand around as she explained before deciding to pick up the dumplings first.
