I raised my head and gave him a sidelong glance. I took the water and drank half a bottle. I washed the rest of my hands. My face was probably dirty too, but I couldn't care less.
"Get in the car. I don't know how long it will take for us to get to our destination." I sighed in my heart.
The car started. After much difficulty, I managed to get it on the road. The old man grabbed the handrails tightly. Considering my driving skill, I could understand why.
After we got on flat ground, the old man finally asked, "Girl, where's Jing Tian? Why isn't he here?"
I turned to look at him. "Jing Tian was captured."
He almost jumped up in his seat. "Captured? By whom? Where is he now? Why didn't you go and save him? Girl, don't you know your priorities? Why didn't you go and save him?"
I rolled my eyes at him.
"If I knew who had captured him and where he is, do you think I won't go save him? I wouldn't even have time to come save you!"
