At that point in time, when the announcement came through his head, one of his PC screens changed and multiple windows appeared with strings of code started to emerge for each window.
They looked extremely foreign for a moment and it was a syntax that Gen had never seen before. Despite the situation, he attempted to keep cool and tried to read the code. He noticed that the windows were segregated into various modules, and each of those modules was pertaining to not just his agents but also the guards that were participating in the fights which he saw through the monitors.
That was when he realised it felt this was something similar to creating a game programme. Even though he needed to read it more, he could roughly understand a part of the code especially the agents he was handling. There was actually a page pertaining to their attributes and even what they were holding or wearing. He believed that was the inventory section of the codes in their modules.
Just as he was about to change one of them, the System pointed out something. "No attribute changes are allowed during missions. Please use the available Thought Points to change the fate of your agents. Tutorial note: Thought Points would be replenished at a slow rate to ensure the survival of your agents."
"How do you use it?" Gen was beginning to be a little impatient as he could see that his agents were running out of options. If only they have an additional weapon or ammunition.
Simultaneously, the Viper suddenly saw a message appearing right in front of her head but she was more eager for the item underneath the message. "Handler Muramasa had replenished Viper a new pistol and two clips of ammunition!"
It was then, Gen could feel his head experiencing a slight headache and the screen with the Thought Points user interface had decreased drastically. From 10 points to 5 points. At the side of it, a timer was seen and he believed that was the replenishment rate of the Thought Points.
"This is basically hacking with fucking reality!" Muramasa said as he realised the possibilities of how this could work. At the same time, Gen also knows that this ability to change reality is limited and with five points left, he needed to make sure that it was used properly.
