Other's pov:
"THE MOST AWAITING MOMENT HAS ROLLED OUT, THE BEST ENTREPRENEUR OF 2021 GOES TO AADYA NARAYAN." at the end of the word one could find the displeasure in their tone but everyone remained quiet as they share same feeling.
Spot light fell on a beautiful lady by the posture she is sitting one can tell how powerful she is. She had her head held high stood up from the chair draped with silky white cloth material which was matching to her gown. Her every step shows how controlled and powerful she is. Her body emits dark aura around her. Her eyes icy, nose sharp, lips adored with blood red lipstick has controlled smile. Her chin held high with confidence.
Ladies envied her, gents cursed her, gentelmans drooled over her beautiful face with killer body.
She is epitome of beauty with brain and body.
As she passed amongst pool of people she is nothing but boon to sore eyes.
"WE WOULD LOVE TO CALL UP HER ON THE STAGE. WE APOLOGISE AS SAMARDH RATHODE COULDN'T REACH HERE SO THE AWARD WILL BE GIVEN BY ASHWATH MUKHERJEE.."
Aadya was aware of the stare she was getting but she cared less as it is nothing new. She is aware, how intimidating she is? She was least interested in this ceremony but she couldn't miss it as they are awarding her as the best.
She has nothing to bargain with others. No family, no siblings, no family moments. The success and the 'Aadya & Co' kingdom is the two thing she has to herself. So anything connected to it makes her happy.
As she proceeded towards the stage to receive the award which shows her hardwork, dedication, her happiness has no bound but she had masked with casual smile on her face. She is very controlled with emotions. She doesn't give away easily as now she could hear a faint cry with pleading continueously to save but she had blank face with no emotions but inside she is petrified. She groaned in frustration as she has no other option but to escape from this venue without anyone notice.
Walking elegantly as soon as possible to the stage inorder to hide the lower part of her body disappearing she somehow hid it with the stage decorated with flowers.
Even this time she somehow managed to not to get noticed.
"Good evening ladies and gentelman. I won't bore you with long speech as my bussiness is demanding my attention."
"I dedicated this award to myself as without me it's impossible. Thank you everyone for your immense patience" her snobbish reply had their concentration diverted from her to the nearby person to gossip among themself. This was her cue to exit from there. She turned on her heel and rushed towards the backside of the stage which she had noticed while coming on the stage. Before she could even step into the steps she disappeared into thin air.
***********************************
A car sped with high speed inorder to reach the destination. It's raining heavily but he cared less. His mind is filled with the thought of being late which he dislike. He us very punctual and he hate tardiness. He knows how risk he is taking but he couldn't slowdown as it is his first mistake he had ever done related to work or business. He wasn't the sole reason for his delay to the award function where he is invited to give away the award the climate didn't agree with him today. Because of the climate he is running out of time and the car is running out of fuel. He punched the steering wheel cursing his fate and he expected rain to stop.
In distance he found an accident. It was dark outside and was raining he could faintly figure out a lady with bump sat clutching her stomach. From her expression he could figure it she is in pain. He pressed the accelerator and sped up the car towards the spot but was stopped abruptly.
He witnessed something unbelievable, mindnumbing.
A thunder stuck and light flashed, he saw a ghost appear all of sudden and he noticed pool of water surrounding the ghost.
Is this some kind of water ghost? He thought.
His face went pale and whole body froze. He couldn't describe how lucky he is at the moment ( note the sarcasm). He is scared to even breath and get caught by the ghost.
Is this how my life end?
He was surprised to see the ghost has a legs. He rubbed his eyes with his palm and zeroed his eyes to find the ghost moving hastily towards the pregnant lady. He got alaramed and prayed for the pregnant lady's well being.
In a blink of an eye Aadya emerged out of the tears of the pregnant lady shed in agony, who was in verge of loosing herself and the baby as the accident was severe.
As soon as her eyes land on the pregnant lady she was got panicked and took hasty steps towards her. She could see the blood pool around the pregnant lady flowing along with rain water. She saw the pregnant women lay there without moving. She cursed for being late as it is not in her hand to control but still she felt she is the responsible for her condition.
"Hey! You ok. Can you get up?" Aadya shook her by shoulder. Panicking, she checked her pulse it was beating and she made her lay on her lap. She let out a breath of relief and it stuck as her eye made to the blood that is flowing and it's not good for baby. By the size of the bump she could tell she is 9th month and time for labour and she is in verge of loosing conscious and the baby also!
"Shit! I have to take her to hospital fast." She mumble and looked hastily around her to find any mode of transportation.
"You have to be up if not for you atleast for the baby" Aadya tried to make some conversation with the pregnant lady to keep her in conscious state by patting her cheek but got no response. She was getting weak looking at the lady state but she has no time to be weakling. She has to be strong for the lady...for the baby.
When her eyes land on the Rolls Royce she sighed.
Aadya gently placed the lady on the road and got up and waved her hand to gain the attention.
At that moment she didn't care about getting caught. She didn't care about the person in the car. She didn't care about being in headline at first in the morning.
Right at the moment she only cared about the baby and it's mother who are in pain.
She showed her hand to the person in the car for help and move forward.
That was the biggest worst and best mistake of her life.
