Eve was probably the most miserable of the three beasts. Her wings were broken, her barrier was torn off, and her life force was becoming weaker and weaker. There was not even a trace of the aura of a dragon on her body. If it was not for the fact that her heart was still beating, people would probably believe that she was a statue.
The man and the three beasts lay quietly in the Lightning Pool formed by the melting of the high platform. They felt the howling wind around them, but their hearts were unexpectedly calm.
