Mike stood up and looked towards the north again, but he did not find a single magical beast.
In other words, the magical beast horde was at least hundreds of miles away!

Mike immediately summoned Eve. He rode on Eve's body and soared into the sky. He swept across the branches that were covered in frost and stirred up the wind and snow.
