Gionne went to war.
He was accompanied only by his sword and the servant boy who followed him with love in his eyes.
Much to everyone's surprise, Gionne thrived on the battlefield. Outside of the army, there were rumors that he became so powerful because he was partnered with a Sik. However, those in the army knew that this was only a rumor. Gionne refused to touch the servant boy in that way. He treated him lavishly and spoiled him without ever forcing the young man.
In his previous lives, he believed all life to be sacred. Although he still believed in that, he no longer thought it applied to humans anymore. He hated humans due to their selfishness and carelessness. He killed them mercilessly, not even caring about right or wrong.
It was all for the sake of his brother.
