I wandered the island looking for Korph and eventually found him speaking to the Elders.
I was going to walk away, but the Elder stopped me. "Wait. I think it would be good for you to join Korph up the mountain. Dryll wanted to meet you."
I looked at him closely, "Is that a good idea?"
Last time a Dragon nearly burned me alive. I'm not sure I want to see one again.
The elder grinned, "They have accepted you. They may still dislike you, but they are curious about you and have asked me to bring you up. Since Korph is going, he can bring you with."
Korph nodded firmly, "If anything happens, I will be there to protect you."
"Mmn."
As we walked up the steep mountain, I spoke to him. "Why are you visiting the dragons?"
Korph answered with a toothy grin, "I have to go check in with them. Every so often, the King is required to speak with them as part of a bonding ceremony."
"Mmn."
