Gyles looked at me with a worried expression, "Do you trust me?"
I gave him a sharp glare without answering his question. I sneered, "Trap or not- I'm going."
"What!" He shouted to protest, "No! Are you an idiot? You almost just died!"
A hoarse laugh escaped my throat, "But, for some reason, I did not."
"I won't let you go."
I glared at him and stepped closer. Although I was smaller than him, he still shrunk back in fear. My voice was venomous, "Really? Do you really think you can stop me?"
He backed off quickly with a hurt expression, "Fine. But I'm going too."
"Do as you want."
"I want to come too!" Sylvia said, rushing over after hearing our shouts.
Gyles looked at her, "Actually, I could really use your help here. We need to fix the sail or else we will be in trouble."
"But, I-"
He cut her off, "I really could use your strength in protecting the men while I'm gone. Do you think you could do this for me?"
