My name is In_Sik, a typical person who is trying to make a name in this global social network "the world" which we have today. I mean I plan to be so successful like Bill Gate kind of successful, you know what I mean???? the ability to get what need to be done at the exact time that is expected of you, or maybe is because of the status of my upbringing.
I grew up in a small town close to Seoul for literally all my life till now. I have a younger sister who means the world to me, she's my cheerleader, my comedian, musician, magician, just name whatever she will do it to the fullest.My dad is an economic professor at the community college while my mom runs a beauty parlour. We have a comfortable life according to my dad and he was fine with it.
After getting my college degree as an engeenier, the only job I could find was at a computer Shop. Today makes it two years of me working at Jim's electronic and am just so tired of the same boring routine of my life.At six o'clock, I went to my manger and handed him my resignation letter which was the first step to actually getting a life that I want for my self, a life that I can be proud of. After some minutes of talking to the manger and saying goodbye to my colleague I went home.
when I got home the first person I saw was my dad and my heart literally stop for some seconds. I was terrified because my dad have put the idea of comfortablility which our current life style and not wanting more. After our usaul family dinner I helped my sister with the dishes giving my self courage to tell my parents about my plan.
I waited till after my parents watched their favourite comedy show to make sure they are in a good mood before dropping the bomb. After going through several scinerio of how I can tell my parents about it, I finally maned up and went to the sitting room.
Firstly I cleared my throat to signal them for their attention and I told them about how I wanted to go into the big city of Seoul and have already given my boss my resignation letter. I could feel a burning laser that will send me six feet under ground from my dad stare. He stood up hurriedly telling me how ungrateful I am for thinking about only myself, that he has given us a good life, a comfortable life and made sure we have the basic thing needed in life.While on the other end of the couch my mum just sit silently but busy thinking of a more calm approach because the calm and reasonable card have been passed to her. After hearing my father yelling for about twenty minutes mom finally calm my father down and lead him to their bed room to avoid any further issue that can't be solved. I just stood there dumb founded, and for the first time in my life I felt like the most selfish person that existed in planet earth because after all my father's ranting my mind was still set on leaving.
I went to my sisters room to give her a proper fare well and after an hour of talking and laughing I went to my
room to pack my bags. while packing I heard a knock on my door and it was my mom who entered with a sad face. She sat on my bed and tapped the space close to her signalling me I should sit there. The first thing she did was to give me a warm smile which to me was a sign of hope then she finally have me her blessing on my forthgoing trip.
The next morning, i woke up very early so I can have my breakfast and get on the first train to Seoul. After breakfast and getting ready, my mom took to the train stop and said a lititle farewell prayer for me, then I boareded the train. On entering the train, I located a empty cabin and made my self comfortable hiding my excitement. Short after two men entered into the cabin, one of the man was putting on a casual black suit and a white shirt which complemented he's jet black hair and carried a suite case which was same as mine while the other man wore a black pant and a flowery shirt with three button undone and has a brown hair.They took their seat opposite me and have me a weird stear that I inteprinted that they wanted me out of the cabin but I didn't care be I found the cabin first, like they say founders keepers.
After a really uncomfortable journey we finally arrived as Seoul and I hurriedly pick the bag from the storage compartment and ran out because I couldn't wait any longer for my life to start.After I got to the apartment I purchased last night, I took my bath and unzipped the bag to get clothes I could where for my site seeing and saw a whole new wardrobe in the bag. At first I taught it was a gesture from my mom but after looking closely at the cloths and how refined they are I remembered that the guys from the train had the same bag as mine. After a some time deliberating my next move I decided to put on the clothes since I have no way of contacting them and I went for my site seeing as planned.Finders keepers.
