"aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhhh, is not supposed to be morning" said Scarlet lazily. Today is going to be my first day at work...my name is Scarlet Ferguson, daughter of Mr. Fernando Ferguson, the prime minister of Country Z. Most people would think that I'm that spoiled little daddy's girl, but in reality I'm not....my father left my mother when he found out that she was pregnant with me and chased after another woman....yes I know, very unforgivable. He started to visit us during the weekend since since I was born, he provided everything we needed but never stay for us to have quality family time. Enough of him though, today I'm starting my first day at work at a writing company and I'm soo excited. I have loved writing since I was 6yrs.
"Honey you're gonna be late for your first day at work if you don't come down!" my mom screamed from the kitchen. "Coming mom!" I screamed back.
Since I didn't want to be late on my first day at work I dressed up and headed down for breakfast. Mom and I had a peaceful breakfast once again without dad. After breakfast we got into the car and drove to the company that was about a 15mins drive from our home. We arrived at the entrance and mom prayed for me before I got out of the car. I watched her car disappear before entering the building carrying my boxes. On my way to the reception I bumped into someone....BAM!!! the boxes fell
"I'm soo sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry", I said repeatedly, I was soo embarrassed.
"Better watch where you're going next time beautiful" said a calm voice. I raised my head just to see a tall, handsome, well-built, gorgeous guy with ocean blue eyes, silky shiny hair and a breath-taking smile...I was dumbfounded. I was speechless until his voice broke my daydream..."hey are you ohk?"
"Ummmm....yeah I'm fine", I replied quickly.
"Let me help you with these" he offered. I intended to deny his offer but before I could speak, he had already taken the lead. He helped me into my office and placed the boxes on my desk. "You must be new here right? Scarlet Ferguson?". I was flabbergasted. He knew my name...he knew my name.....he knew my name....." Uh yeah, I'm Scarlet Ferguson, nice to meet you", I said as I offered a handshake. But before he could respond, someone entered the office. "You're needed Sir" the man said which was answered with a nod by...Mr. I just met. When the man left, Mr. I just met kissed my hand and left without a word....
