Hansel could see that Yanarym would hate Spencer if she ever found out about that affair between the two.
Hansel also takes into consideration that Yanarym would feel betrayed that Spencer would screw her best friend. But who knows? This plan may not work out, however, that was not the only gain in this play. If Spencer were too occupied in pursuing Gale, Hansel would be given enough time to be with Yanarym and convince him that she should choose him to be with.
He could take the easy way, he could drug her and r-ape her in an unconscious state. But sex, it wasn't about sex anymore. Even though he felt that strong sexual connection, this wasn't about sex any longer. He wants her love.
"Isn't it obvious? Spencer likes you too Gale. Are you dense enough to not notice that?" Hansel chuckled and Gale's eyes widened in bewilderment.
