CHAPTER 13
"Baby… what did you say?" Spencer asked not knowing if he should smile or laugh. He cupped her face and stared at her anguish expression.
"Baby, tell me again, what did you say? Hmm? Open your eyes, it's me. Spencer, see? It's your boyfriend." He meekly told her while brushing her damp cheeks using his thumbs.
"Spencer?"
"Yes." He smiled so widely as they met each other's eyes. "It's me." He kissed her nose still sitting at her top. Yanarym blinked her misty eyes.
"Tell me again, what you said." He softly whispered.
"What did I say?" She asked innocently, Spencer gazed at her hazel mesmerizing eyes that were shining in the dark. He gently kissed it and tasted the wet liquid coming from it. He wonders why it tastes so sweet. The saltiness he savored earlier was no longer there.
