The summer was full of sunshine and the warm comfortable wind was rustling through the trees bringing a warm harmonious feeling that filled the whole town.
A week has passed since the garden meeting of two children. Minal and Hashir have been going to each other's homes and playing with each other.
Contrary to the cheerful and extrovert nature that she displayed in front of her Dad and other familiar people, she had cautious behavior in front of strangers. No one would be able to tell that she was the same talkative child.
Today after a week, two children finally eased up to each other, Hashir offered her to go to the playground together so maybe they can also make other friends.
Early in the morning, there was a huge hustle in a little princessy room. Servants were busy coming in and out of the room. Several dresses in every color lay scattered on the bed with other hair accessories. Few of the maids were standing nearby, each holding a pair of cute little shoes. The maids and the butler were all present helping this grumpy little miss to get ready.
She wore a dull teal-colored babydoll dress with white collars, paired with mini white boots, looking fresh and adorable. Her hair was tied in a ponytail with a few loose strands and her slightly chubby cheeks were flushed with a natural red tint that made her more mesmerizing.
Today Minal specifically got up early morning to get ready and after the whole struggle for two hours, she was finally satisfied with her looks.
Minal happily skipped down the stairs and met her father at the breakfast table. Aaron was holding her a newspaper and calmly sipping his coffee.
"Good Morning daddy!!!" She exclaimed and tiptoed to kiss him on the cheek.
"Good Morning Baby. What happened? You woke up so early today??? He asked while pouring her milk.
"Uh-huh!! I had to get ready for today " she said and bit onto her toast.
"Ready for what?" he pretended to be puzzled.
"Ahh!! c'mon daddy!! You forgot????
I have a play date with Hashir today." she said cheerfully.
"A what???" Aaron paused.
Aaron's immediately furrowed his brows. He knew about her plans but mentioning the word 'date' was very unpleasant to his ears.
"Oh! How bout you cancel your plans for today and daddy will personally bring you boating. We can go on a picnic and also fishing. Sounds fun?" Overcome with jealousy and a potential threat to his daughter's attention, he started luring her out.
"Daddy you cannot do this. I already promised Hashir and you also agreed. You can't do this now!! " She looked at him like a pitiful kitten.
How can he see such expression on his precious daughter's face? And also how she looked forward to going somewhere on her own.
"Okay Okay! But remember to be extra careful and come back right on time" he patted her head.
Minal instantly blossomed like a flower And started finishing her breakfast.
"We will go some other day, Daddy. Don't be upset." She didn't forget to console him.
The whole breakfast Aaron was filled with displeasure and even the rise in his stocks didn't bring him any joy.
"Again because of that Stinky boy"
After breakfast, Aaron called Jared into his study and specially instructed him.
" Double the secret guards on the way and Around the playground."
"Yes, master!!"
"Keep an eye on her all the time. Don't let her get hurt, not even a single scratch, you understand."
"Yes, master!!"
"And keep her away from that stinky boy, whatever his name is"
" Yes Mas-- excuse me?" Jared was dumbfounded in his request.
"You heard it right. You can go now," he said irritatedly.
Jared took the excited Minal and drove to Hashir's home before picking him up. Both children sat in the back seat and then drove to the town center park in the amusement center.
There were many exciting and scary rides there but limited to only a certain age. He led them to the children's arena before sitting on a side bench.
Minal has never been to such a place. She observed everything silently and curiously with bright eyes. Her eyes were shining like stars as she turned her neck here and there swinging her ponytail.
Hashir lead the cautious Minal in the Main playground where several other kids were playing. There were loud noises of children playing everywhere.
"Heyyyy!!! Pass me the ball fatty" a lean-looking boy shouted.
"Huh! Come and take it if you want." a chubby little boy in dunks exclaimed and laughed and started running.
There were also two little girls, of the same age as hers, were sitting on the swings nearby and were talking to each other. They both were small and lean.
One of them carried a small doll on her and by the look of it, she was boasting about it while another one was keenly listening with a trace of envy in her eyes.
The girl with a doll wore a flashy baby pink dress with sparkles and beads on it. Probably due to her slightly tan skin coupled with such a color and her smug attitude, whoever saw her didn't find her pleasant to the eyes. The other girl was also skinny but cute in two little pigtails.
The two good-looking kids entered the playground and attracted quite a lot of gazes. Minal was fresh and adorable while Hashir was clean, obedient, and well mannered.
"Oh my God!! Such a cute girl!!! Which family has such good genes?? " A teenage girl side by said excitedly.
"Oh!! Oh!! Look at the boy next to her, he is also good-looking. Let's take a picture of them." the other girl as just taken out her mobile phone and hurriedly took some photos.
Suddenly her vision was obstructed. A bodyguard dressed as a gardener in his floral shirt rigidly stood in front of her and took her phone.
"No Pictures! " he said robotically and deleted the pictures before returning the phone to her
Unbeckonist to the surroundings and gazes the two kids held hands as they walked into the park.'
"Careful Minal! The mud here is very slippery. I have been to this playground with grandma before. There are many swings here. And there is also a seesaw ." Sensing Minal's curiosity Hashir started talking.
"Do you come here often" Minal blinked.
She has never been to such places before. The idea of freely roaming in playgrounds without bodyguards was very foreign to her.
"Not much but now and then. My grandma likes to take an evening walk, so we come here." He said casually.
From a very young age, Minal accompanied her dad on various business trips in different countries. Aaron never let her out of his sight. He was extremely protective of her and strict with her safety. Even if she wanted to go to a park, she was surrounded by servants or bodyguards in black suits covering her from east to west. The whole ordeal was so beyond annoying that she stopped visiting such places until today.
Even for coming here, she pestered her daddy for a long time and also refused to eat her meals only then he helplessly agreed for her to come with only Jared accompanying her.
She looked around and pointed to the empty swing and said:
"Hey!! Let's ride a swing !!" She said excitedly.
" Okay! You sit and I will push you from behind." he moved to the backside and gave a light pushes.
"Do it faster!!! I wanna go higher " she grumbled.
"Be careful. Lest you fall!" he said.
She rolled her eyes. Hashir seriously has a soul exactly like his grandma. Always nagging and no fun at all.
'It was her first time coming to the playground and without many visible guards and yet still he was treating her like a three-year-old kid. She is six years old already.
