Betty woke up feeling ecstatic. She turned to her side and a met a pair of eyes staring into hers.
"Did you enjoy your sleep?"
She nodded as she got down from the bed.
He held her
"Where are you Going?"
"Home!" she replied curtly
He kissed her
"Let's have a bath".
Before she could react he carried her into the shower. He led her into the jacuzzi and began to undress her. Betty didn't feel shy around him to cover up as they had both taken their baths together before they got separated. He poured some liquid onto his hand and began to wash her.
"Stop....i can wash myself"
"Betty" he called her with a sharp tone. She relented while he continued to wash her. He washed her thoroughly without any intent of arousing her but he let her wash her self down there.
"Your turn"
Betty nodded and began with his hair. She always loved to play with his hair from his onset. Back then she would wash his hair and dry it or possibly make styles out of it. She massaged his hair while a smile curved on her face.
She washed his body and got up to rinse her self. He held her waist
"one more thing"
He kissed her softly on her swollen lips.
Betty could feel her heart melt but she still held her emotions tight. Nix tasted something salty and pulled off
"Betty....I'm..."
"I want to go home" she cut him off. He nodded and dried her up. She wrapped herself in a towel and left him still in the shower.
"Little by little my love" he muttered.
He came downstairs and met the twins and sajan still chatting
"Time for school"
Sajan got up
Nix turned to Betty who walked down the stairs
"I'll drop you off"
She nodded and they all entered the car.
"I'll miss you" sajan hugged the twins. He really got so attached to the twins that he never wanted to part with them
"Don't worry....uncle Phoenix would always come to visit us right?" niah asked and nix nodded.
"Thanks" Betty said and left with the kids while Nix went his way.
"Where are you coming from?" Betty heard a hoarse voice as she walked into the house
"Can we talk about this later" Betty said flatly heading to her room.
Mayan held her with their faces just inches apart.
"Who did you spend the night With?"
"The twins"
"Where?"
"You ask a lot of questions you know?" Betty smiled weakly
But Mayan wasn't convinced
"I don't want to see him around you or else I'll cut those legs of his"
"Yes sir....can you free me now?" she asked feeling uncomfortable
Mayan brought his face closer to her in a bid to kiss her, he had missed her so badly yesterday that he hadn't gotten any sleep. She turned her face away
"Let me go" she said in an indifferent tone. Mayan let her go and she walked to her room.
"Your mine Betty..." he whispered
Betty was already fed up with today. She was really tired and needed to cool off her head. She removed her clothes and slipped into a more comfortable gown and laid on her bed. She tried to get some sleep but she kept on remembering about when Nix had kissed her and all the rising emotions she had felt. She cuddled herself just like she did last night with Nix and imagined him being right there with her hugging her like he did last night with that she felt her eye lids close up
"Daddy do you like her?"
Nix looked at his son
"Why do you ask?"
"Because i know you do"
Nix smiled widely
"And you too seemed to be Destined to be together"
Nix chuckled at his son's words but he was right.....they were actually made for each other and no one not even Mayan the man he had learnt she lived with would stop him from accessing what was his.
